A highly ranked Jefferson team led by 5 star Malaki Starks finds themselves in a heated battle in the first round of the playoffs. Their opponent, Hapeville Charter, is a fairly weak team with a lackluster 5-5 record. Against all odds, the Hornets put together one of the biggest upsets in Georgia History. The following year, Jefferson finds themselves in a nearly identical position, this time facing an even weaker 4-6 Cass team in the first round of the playoffs. In a terrible case of déjà vu, Jefferson somehow find themselves on the losing end of another unbelievable upset.
