Edit: Kokomi was badly received at release, but after the Ocean Hued clam set she got a whole lot better 💝 I don't like that her jellyfish is stationary and has an 8 sec downtime, but nonetheless Kokomi is definitely viable and I love her ocean aesthetic ✨️

@@meptune0335 People dislike her because although her aesthetic is very pleasing, they actually like to do damage. There is liking a character, and then there is ignoring their flaws. Kokomi is beautiful, her kit is ugly, pretending there isn't anything wrong with her is just as bad as trashing her continuously.

People are trashing her but she’s one of my favourite character now with my team of Baal, Fishcl n Zhongli. It’s like having 8 characters at once when the on-field jellyfish, raven, pillar, Baal’s E are constantly dealing damage when my Kokomi just standing there healing n killing everyone around with her Burst. Omg it is one of the most satisfying thing ever!!!

I just look forward to having her as a ultra dependable heavy tank when I've built her. When I'm fighting something annoying, I can just take her out and just stand there taking a beating while healing so much that it doesn't even matter, while also returning a decent amount of damage.

@@roni3456 they want to build a character who has equal capabilities of being a support healer and a dmg dealer. It could have been better if she has some sort of healing bonus scaling from her max hp so her dmg can catch up to other characters. But either way, she's still good as she is now.

kage kokomis crit means that any crit you have on her takes away 100 from it so if you have good crit ex. 160, she'll have 60 crit

For Kokomi you need to stack HP, Healing Bonus and Atk% for her to cause decent damage, for the 4th stat you could try to get some Energy recharge, or Elemental Mastery both would help her in different ways. EM would offer consistency in reactions in the few Scenarios when she misses the timing and reacts herself. And ER because she actually needs it to mantain her burst.

Kokomi's has two kinds of builds, one with her as the focus, where yo bring multiple sub-DPS and you guide their skills to cause reactions and that's where your main damage will come from, of which an electro charged comp with Beidou or Fischl will cause most damage Raiden is also a good alternative but only if you bring Sucrose for EM buffs, or in Morgana comp as an alternative to Diona with Ayaka in Mona's place.
