Hi everyone! I'm finally back in Jeju :') I was invited by the Jeju Olle Walking Festival to take part in the festivities and share it with you! We walked course 8 and got to enjoy my favorite things about the island: tangerines, green tea, the ocean, and the kind people. It was a lovely three days and I'm glad I could take you all with me. It was really weird to be on a plane after all this time, but I felt really safe and everyone is taking safety measures seriously. Hope you're all safe and well too!

I've always wondered why some vloggers do the same thing but their vlogs are so dry and uneventful and you do it so well. I think it's the storytelling. You go the extra mile with the beautiful edits, the appropriate music choices, knowing when and how much to talk and just the flow of scenes in general, which makes these "conventionally" long vlogs so thoroughly enjoyable. If a vlog naturally conveys a good story, it genuinely feels like I'm visiting all those places and doing all those things with you and that's why people love your vlogs so much. And I hope you really pat yourself on the back for how hard you work for it.

I nearly spat my tea at "black tea in your area" lol. This was exactly the wholesome and refreshing content I needed, thank you :)

Your channel has made South Korea the first country I want to visit after the pandemic is over and things have settled! Also, The Island of Sea Women by Lisa See is set largely in Jeju. It's a great book, I highly recommend it!

I went solo to Jeju last year for a weekend while I was doing a study abroad. I was feeling very homesick at the time but going to Jeju felt like a little piece of home to me. Especially when I saw the column looking rocks (we call them Stuðlaberg in Icelandic) and the waterfalls since we have a lot of that in Iceland (it also started to rain a little bit while I was there which reminded me even more of home lol). I also went to the spirited garden and met the owner who very kindly showed me around the place, even though he barely spoke English and I spoke very little Korean, gave me some tea, and allowed me to feed the koi fish. It was all just so magical. Everyone I met was so welcoming and helpful that I was just overwhelmed. I was struggling with the buses there and a bus driver and some very nice ladies took time out of their day to help me find the right way back to my hotel. I truly believe that going to Jeju healed my soul and seeing this video reminded me of that experience and made me feel a lot better during these difficult times, so thank you so much for posting it Cari.

It’s so weird to see you live this kind of things like the festival. I’m french, and we’re living the 2nd confinement.. everything is close except school for the moment, and food store.. and we are at home again. I love your videos, they are like a dream, a secret life, i don’t know but unreal ahah !!!

It was an earthquake in Turkey, it was really bad and I tried stay away from social media because there was bad news everywhere, I felt hopeless and negative. But now, I feel peaceful because of your video, thanks for it!
