Күн бұрынJekyll Island Club was an exclusive enclave formed by Gilded Age families like the Rockefellers, Morgans, Vanderbilts, and Goodyears, among others. Several historic events took place here, including the creation of the Federal Reserve and the first transcontinental phone call. We also take you to Driftwood Beach, a beach with old trees turned into driftwood caused by erosion and the ocean.

What a gorgeous island. I’d never heard of it. But I am landlocked living in Iowa! I’m going to look it up on a map so I can get my head wrapped around it’s location better. Thank you for taking us on the tour. Mary

Do history of the "native indians" skeletons found that where approximately 8ft tall. Found a sacrificial site under the hotel , same room the Federal reserve was founded in....

Does it still smell due to the paper mills? How about the municipal water. When I went there, it smelled like rotten eggs.
