If I could love this video I would, a simple "like" just isn't enough. A little thumbs up doesn't commute what I feel, but it's all that's offered to give. Rest In Peace(s), Dave, and thank you Jello for that wonderful speech. Eight years and it still hurts.

Wow. One of my favorite Earthlings of all Human history for half my life paying homage to someone i am only realizing the bombastic, revolutionary, inspiring genius of. i had no idea they were buds. Man, i could listen go Jello's behind the scenes rock stories and Oderus' manic anti-everything diatribes *for hours*

im so glad jello could be there.that made this memorial that much more epic. thanx for posting this. dave and jello 2 of the best minds to ever come out of these music scenes. they dont make them like this anymore. without them our link is gone. hail oderus. hail dave brockie. hail gwar. and vote for jello. ps. my favorite part. jello dosent even skip a beat as the hornets fly past him. very funny.

I really miss Dave. Huge heart, laughing at the abyss and the cruelties of the world, making our lives a little more bearable. I hope I can pay him back for all he gave me.

why is there ANY hate for jello on this page? poser? really? my ass. maybe there's something else he did that I don't know about? really though, god forbid a punk makes money heading a record label and doing what he loves. heard a lot of punker-than-thou douchenozzles at basement shows in college talk shit about him, only to get corporate jobs after they graduate because they "don't wanna go homeless." fuckin christ. dave's a goddamn boss and jello's awesome. end of fuckin story

On this page? Yeah probably, haha. The people I mainly heard complaints from were crusties covered in patches from local bands at the basement hardcore shows in my college town. You don't get much more legit than that, except for maybe an attitude adjustment. I hear the same complaints about Fat Mike and his label.

That was a very nice tribute to Dave, I'm kind of surprised that people think he talked too much or whatnot, I felt like his sharing of how Dave and GWAR affected his life as well as the music industry was interesting. To know how he personally impacted GWAR as well as what was going behind the scenes, that was interesting.

I don't know, I'd vote for an absolute unknown guy to take over as Oderus Urungus that can be an exact clone of Dave Brockie or else you're going to get a KISS situation where you replace Ace Frehley with Tommy Thayer. The majority of fans aren't fools and anything less than a Dave Brockie clone would make them happy.

Like any politician (which Jello sort of is - in his own right), he's well-connected - so I look at it like Jello's just showing how many people's lives Dave Brockie's affected - and how much GWAR has done for the music community and scene.
