After reading some comments, I would move sayu to S-, Raiden to B, Dehya and Razor to A. And yes lisa is a joke because ara ara climbing :)

i would put sayu in S-tier just because of the fact that some animals, especially crystalflies, don't get startled if she's in the team, making it a lot easier to farm them i mean, almost all things needed for overworld are consolidated in her kit. Healing, Movement, Mining (she's a claymore user), and her farming passive are all very important in the overworld.

Ningguang should be placed on the specialities because she can locate stones.

for furina, she herself is a healer so you dont need other healers in the overworld, u just put her into white mode and she heals enough for the team to not feel like they are going to die in 1 hit (not in weekly boos fight though)

Razor can be a Zhongli replacement for mining if you don't have Zhongli. His radius isn't as big as Zhongli's, but he is Claymore so he can smack the rest until the cooldown resets. Ningguang can be used to detect ores in the Overworld.

Lynette also shows the healing fish when you’re underwater

Beidou is godly with her elemental skill in Inazuma when you have to solve the puzzles where the arrows point to you when electro infused.

Gotta say, Bennet is not a great healer in over world exploration. His healing only comes from his burst, and if his burst isn’t ready because, say, the last enemies you fought died before you could land Bennet’s skill on them to recharge the burst, he just can’t heal your party until you enter combat again.

I feel like when they design Dehya's kit they made her for overworld not spiral abyss since she has a passive that regerenates health, a movement speed passive beetwen daytime also + she scales with HP. What im saying is they made her a overworld tank character which fits her lore.

Tbh Venti is in S tier in this category for me. Kazuha is not the only one who can suck the drops, Venti does it too. He can also make the wind elevators (in co-op it's a blessing because you can help your friends in climbing as well), he helps with your gliding stamina, his burst is unmatched for smaller and annoying enemies and it makes it so fun to play. So I really think he's underrated

So happy to see Yoimiya here! Also would like to add that Yoimiya + Layla combo is such top tier spectres farming duo since most common kind tend to be hydro. Layla's star can freeze them then melt by Yoimiya while shielded.

i ascended my Sayu to 80/90 to level her burst. started running her the day she came out. today, my sayu has leveled to 83 (and a liiiiitle over three quarters of the bar, almost 84 now) just from overworld mob exp. catching crystalflies is never an issue for me because whenever i stumble upon them while exploring or doing quests, i can just pick them up no problems. i love that they stay (relatively) still because of sayu. great unit. (also dehya is fun overworld! her speed passive during the daytime+double anemo lets you zoom zoom.)

any character that can do what they need to do without their burst (whether that is damage, healing, buffing) = s-tier to me

I think Layla having a decent shield on her skill is golden, and her burst freezes everything if it's raining. Mika has his speciality AND heals, you did him dirty!

The overworld has a strong influence over my pulling, so I was glad to see this video pop up. But I can't say this was a good tier list. There's a number of issues. There were too many characters included in A tier that just aren't bringing much of anything. The passives of many characters were overlooked, such as Kaeya's stamina reduction from sprinting. And Nuevillette's swimming speed boost. Character height also deserved a mention. Character height effects movement speed. That includes running and climbing. Razor is the second best character for mining after Zhongli, so their placements are a bit contradictory. Puzzles and challenges weren't mentioned at all. I get that you can't make a party that can do every puzzle because of the elemental checks. (Though some elements are definitely used more than others. For example, how often do you see a puzzle that wants cryo?) But bow users deserved a mention. They are generally nicer for puzzles. Sometimes you want them for flying enemies. Sometimes there's puzzles specifically wanting a bow user. You don't get that type of thing with any other weapon type except claymore with mining. Bow users deserved as much of a mention as you gave to claymores. Moving on to that, mining was overvalued. Weapon crystals are one of the most abundant resources in the game. They aren't often a bottleneck. I've seen old players literally max them out and have to destroy them. Mining characters are more something you pull out whenever you are specifically going to go around mining if you run out of the crystals. Razor and Zhongli belong in the specialties tier. Healing was undervalued a little. Specifically, healing which doesn't require a burst. Its especially nice to have in areas with environmental hazards. Also, in the overworld Furina is your healer. You don't need to worry about maximizing her burst stacks. You don't need to pair a healer with her. Just use her to heal up after the fight. You also completely missed a definite S tier unit, if someone is willing to pull a few cons for the overworld. I am referring to Baizhu. Baizhu is the only character with a team-wide skill-based heal. His passive also heals your active character some anytime you pick up most plants such as mint. His c2 makes him cast mini versions of his skill automatically when you hit enemies. And this works off field. It requires no setup. He will basically always keep your party full health and you never have to swap to him. And this passive works underwater in Fontaine. It does a little damage too, which is basically the only way to get extra damage underwater because you have to use the abilities the blue creatures give you. I hate Lisa. Get her out of S. Meme's are dumb. She obviously doesn't belong there.

I feel like Kirara, Yaoyao and Sayu should be on a bit higher tier not only for traversal but also for farming purposes. Jello forgot to mention their passives that doesn't disturb crystalflies and animals for farmable meats. Also Freminet for less diving stamina and his NA animation is quite fast which is good for mining.

Venti’s burst does scoop up items, and with a fav-bow it’s very easy to chain them. Add in that he has grouping, crowd control, and his traversal ability is solid. He’s actually pretty S-tier for overworld with Fav-bow, and everyone gets a free fav-bow. The biggest thing going against him is Kazuha exists, and Kazuha does it all better, and is better in abyss. I wouldn’t suggest wishing for Venti, but he can be a huge quality-of-life upgrade for new accounts especially.

Kirara is actually good because many creature’s won’t run away/attack, including boars which can be annoying sometimes, plus she can be good for traveling over rough terrain since when in cat form she does a little hop over those annoying ledges, also she jumps higher in cat form so you can collect oculi or cheese puzzles, and her shield is good for bloom since it damages you, so having a dendro shielder is good

"Kazuha's the only one" - meta slave thinking spotted. Venti does it better (higher AOE and he kills the enemies too), also did you know Venti can raise you a tiny bit higher than Kazuha can? Also for the movement slot Sayu is by far the best, the others don't cover multiple roles (healer, mining, butterflies). I like the idea of an exploration tier list but this is far from perfect. Speaking of Venti he also covers additional roles : bows are required for many puzzles and you can ride his wind current to plunge and mine repeatedly if nothing else is available, without waiting for a CD like you need to on Kazuha. He also refills energy for your characters.

Love this! I rarely play Abyss but love knowing who's best/worst. (I acknowledge they're all viable/playable just some characters make certain things easier than others)

My mining team is: 1. Zhongli 2. Ningguang (Best geologist around) 3. Yelan (travel speed) 4. Sayu (when Yelan is tired)😅

I'd certainly give dehya a slight edge due to her being able to explore dragonspine without dying from cold, but that's also very situational and there are many ways to not freeze there

Jean's healing your whole team a little after each attack makes her a fantastic on-field unit. Very comfy cleaning up trash mobs while topping up everyone else's hp. She does a great job feeding herself particles for her burst, too, for very consistent whole-team heals.

As a new player (started in January) who got Yoimiya as my first 5 star, I inevitably regret it any time I try experimenting with other characters and take her out of my party. She provides the best overworld experience for me of all the characters I've managed to get so far. I replaced Amber with Yoimiya as soon as I got her because Amber felt clunky in combat, but for exploration, Amber has really good role consolidation: pyro damage, aimable range attacks, and Baron Bunny can hold down pressure plates. If you don't want to be constantly swapping characters in and out of your active party, a new player will need to run a pyro character and an archer for a lot of overworld challenges (torches, exploding barrels, etc...) and the bunny prevents the need for running geo traveler in Liyue if you don't want to.

Rosaria's movespeed speed buff during night is worth mentioning, her + Gaming gives the buff 100% of the time and melt isn't a bad archetype to be forced into. Can give Xianyun lost prayer, have aneno resonance on top of the prior mentioned and she runs and jumps almost as fast as yelan skill

I think healers like qiqi, kuki and barbara are automatically at least A tier simply bcus they have unconditional healing, and qiqi in particular also has the specialty passive. Ningguang and rosaria i'd also put in A tier bcus ningguang is the only character (i think) who shows mining ore on the map and she's a decent miner. Rosaria's movement speed passive at night is handy but the main thing is her aimbot skill is super good in the overworld and her low cost burst is very easy to fill up. I sometimes farm elite mobs for artifact drops and she doesn't need that much ER to consistently get her ult back in the overworld

Cloud Chicken my beloved. Also an important detail about Baizhu, is if you build him with Sac Frags (which you should :y) he can single-handedly clear water type enemies. Which is not the most useful thing ever, but is very funny.

Rosaria should be in A tier IMO because of her Night Walk passive, as well as being a good utility character being her skill is a gap closer as well as energy battery with Fav Lance. Her power levels is just right for overworld enemies too. And the most important thing of all is her previous default outfit, you gotta love those fishnets when fishing of course 😏

Dehya and Gaming have daytime movement speed, Rosaria has nighttime movement speed. These bonuses stack w/ anemo resonance and speed boosts like Lost Prayer to the Sacred Wind.

I like walking around the overworld with Xiao because I like plunging from any height without worrying for damage. It might just be me, but he's like Zhongli to me that makes me feel comfy and safe that I won't die from stupid things. Also, I like zooming while gliding is what I often do with Xiao. I sometimes wish we could switch characters in mid-air so I can switch from Scara to Xiao and extend my air time. Edit: I just remembered that Xiao has a passive skill that decreases climbing stamina consumption, so I think it's an addition.

freminet is good in fontaine underwater

I’m one of those who is only now at AR57 starting to do Spiral Abyss because I finally feel more confident to try. I’m still very un-meta about it all and not good, but I’m just happy just to make it to the end of Floor 12 finally lol So overworld exploration cuties are so valuable! Xianyun and Furina are my top tier right now for OW

Mona should be higher. Her burst which can be used frequently oneshots weaker enemies (and applies the best element and debuffs stronger ones), her run is faster than average on top of going over water and applies hydro when it ends, and mine is on Prototype Amber making her the only healer I need. Also convenient in overworld is the decoy she drops when running, making it easier to get enemies you don't want to fight easier to ignore. And finally, if we're talking about enjoyment of use in the overworld... looks should be a factor.

Ningguang can show you where ores are on the map so I probably would place her in A tier. Amber is definitely B tier exclusively for the torch lighting. The only other Pyro bow is Yoimiya who is a limited character that most people won't pull just for overworld utility and I really wouldn't say Bennett makes her redundant since you have to active run to each location. One thing you missed with Dehya is the only unit with self-sustain for underwater exploration in Fontaine.

For Beidou in the overworld, if you stand in burning grass, you can tap skill and it always counts as a perfect parry (I assume it's the same for Yun Jin too, though since she's not a claymore and since she is more specialized, I don't think it's worth raising Yun Jin for it). Beidou also can cheese all those Inazuma Electro puzzles. Also, Razor hold skill one-shots all ores. Also also, just being a tall male character is a plus because they dash and climb faster than the other character models. Useful if you're missing any of the fast-dashing characters.

Freeze is the best reaction for overworld!

Furina has spoiled me, and I can't stand swimming anymore. I always walk on the water instead. I usually leave her in healer mode though for overworld stuff because the little minions will constantly attack random things and drain everyone's health while just walking around. Her healer mode makes you pretty much immortal too. Even with an off field damage build, mine has a ton of health, so her healing over time is fantastic and outpaces any mob enemy and a lot of bosses. For the Crimson Witch weekly boss you can completely ignore the mechanics of the fight and ignore the damage over time you take from the cold or heat. Definitely an easy S tier for overworld.

Fischl B tier for over world is... quite an opinion. To me Fischl is easily A tier for over world. She as super high ease of use. You just press E and switch out and the combat encounter is done with. She can be paired with just about anything. While she is not a claymore she is an archer which is also very useful. For a new account her over world combat ability is overwhelmingly S tier. You might value that more than mobility. I remember when I first started playing this game and Fischl was by far my best character in how good she was in combat. I still use her in overworld a lot.

Swap Razor and Noelle's placement and then we're good. Razor's hold E is 2nd only to Zhongli in terms of mining. Noelle doesn't really contribute much in the overworld aside from being claymore. Noelle deals dodo damage without her burst. Meanwhile, since Razor is physical, he can still deal decent damage without burst.

I think Barabara should be higher 1. She can heal with skill (even though it's long), So you don't have to go to the statue or eat food for small heals 2. She can hold Thrilling Tales 3. If you have a C6 Barbara she can revive a character every 15 minutes(useful to have it in store) 4. Easy to build since she mainly needs HP(and maybe ER)

Hu Tao with Furina, Yelan and Xianyun is one of my favorites for speed. For Elemental checks Hypergeon/Curry with Nahida, Yelan/xingqui/Thoma/Kuki

versatility and multifunction is very useful in open world - unless you enjoy perpetually swapping round characters for different situations. Noelle is a classic multi-function.

I generally use a Ganyu freeze team for the overworld. It has Ganyu, Kokomi/Mona, a shielder, and a utility character or someone I'm farming friendship for. You're basically untouchable and can wreck anything with impunity in this comp. The only downside is that it's terrible against cryo-immune enemies (large cryo slimes are the WORST), but the utility character can usually take care of that.

My favorite overworld team is Dehya, Yelan, Rosario and Jean. They are incredibly fast and nimble; can handle any types of enemies including Local Legends. Great survivability and they can freeze, dry, melt, vape or whatever at will. Put down Dehya's field on top of Jean's field (or vice versa) and if desired Rosario's field and you can just stand there and watch things die. An alternative I used extensively in Chenyu Vale was Dehya, Ganyu, Candace and Xianyun. Good mobility and survivability, climbing becomes almost a non-issue, can use Ganyu to snipe annoyances. Also, Dehya actually synergizes very well with both Ganyu and Candace. If you have a C6 Amber; she's basically a pyro Ganyu, especially if it is raining. Plus, those bunnies are incredibly useful in the open world. Aimed shot C6 Amber is really strong - she can one shot most cyro slimes and hilichurls. She's also my #1 torch lighter. Likewise, if you have a C6 Faruzan or C6 Kujou Sara, they are a force to be reckoned with in the open world. Both a C6 Amber or a C6 Faruzan can solo most mobs in the open world. Especially if you shield them with Layla who has a very useful ult to provide reactions. A really fun (and highly destructive) team I've been using a lot lately is Kirara, Nahida, Lynette and Kuki - absolutely superb for open world play. Plus, they are really fast and nimble. A good starter team which I actually used for a long time was Noelle, Fischl, Xiangling and Barbara. The interaction between Oz and Gouba are a force majeur especially since you can drop them on enemies from a cliff or a tree and then just climb down to pick up the loot... Noelle shielded and backed by Barbara's ring and Xiangling's pyronado is an unstoppable force. Just whirl towards the enemies and watch everything go poof... really fun!

I spam Xiao's burst in the overworld (I also have C1), and you can E in the air. Xianyun and Kazuha to an extent can help him easily get his burst back. Don't forget no plunge damage as well, very good when leaping from cliffs like near the thunder manifestation when collecting Raiden's fruits/farming ruin sentinels. I often spam other bursts in overworld too, esp for if they have surplus ER (example my Navia unintentially has 165 ER) and have 60 cost and lower. Only Xiangling, Noelle, and Cyno do I find terrible to charge back their bursts. Anyway, if you really need energy back for the burst, there are two teleport spots in Sumeru where a ruin grader spawns nearby. You can teleport there, beat it up with your skills but leave it alive, and your bursts will be back.

This is such a good idea. Literally nobody can play spiral abyss without going through the overworld first.

I feel really confortable playing bow characters in overworld. I'm exploring the new region and it's crazy how good they are. They can interact with monuments from very far away, we have the anemo slime puzzle, the time trial with explosive barrels and bow main dps, like liney, tighnari, ganyu and yoimiya, are amazing for comissions and defeating mobs from far away. And we have Yelan!

I would love to see a tier list for *Co-Op Characters!* I have C6 Diona and C6 Kirara, and their group shielding alongside their other utilities (healing and Dendro application, respectively) is such a go-to when I'm not sure what to bring to a team, especially against Azhdaha~

Do you know that you can glide in between Xianyun's skills and get more distance? Like skill, glide for a second, skill again, glide and then skill and then glide.

I don't know why every content creator insists on only ever talking about characters with respect to Spiral Abyss. I've been a daily player since launch, and I endure Spiral Abyss for about 30 minutes twice per month where I merely hope that I get 33 stars on my single run so I don't feel like I have to go back and do it again.

I was lucky to have Sayu as my first four star outside of the starting characters + Noelle. Very useful to have for traversing long distances and catching crystalflies when you’re starting out, and she can still pull her weight as a clutch healer with even a little bit of investment. I have her, Yelan, Kazuha, and Ayaka as my exploration team. Mika can also show Mondstadt specialties, so he’s useful for people that don’t have or want to pull for Klee. I will say, though, that I find his long skill cooldown to be just as big of a detriment as his reliance on burst for healing. I also find Razor and Candace to be underrated in terms of overworld. Their held skills can also mine clusters of ore similar to Zhongli, and they have passives that decrease stamina consumption for running and climbing, respectively.

My S tier for overworld is also my first main in the game, Razor, kind of a joke now but his skill mines everything in one hit and you can just use his skills and smack enemies to clear any overworld encounter, he doesn't even need to burst, so comfy.

My current exploration team is Gaming (for mining and gathering electro crystals and frost flowers), Furina (for water walking and fire flowers), Nahida (for all other gathering), and Xianyun (for vertical mobility). Kazuha used to be my vertical mobility go-to, but I benched him for the flavor of the month. I still like bringing in Amber to solve the occasion fire puzzle just for old time sake, and Zhongli for those puzzles where you have to stand on two circles at once to activate. Kirara will be added when I have a lot of climbing while farming whatever. Yao Yao is a great healer, good at dendro application and most of all, animals don't run off when she's in your party making it easier to gather crabs and flies. It's interesting that as you went the deeper into this tier list the focus shifted to primarily combat strengths and less on general overworld utility.

I always run Wanderer and Sayu, because they are the dream team for collecting crystalflies. But, if new Moon Crane girl can jump without damaging and respawning the crystalflies, instant swap. So yeah, those two, then usually Kirara if I'm climbing or Zhongli if I'm mining. Final spot is a foex spot for the character that has resources on the map depending on the area I'm farming

Like many commenting, I have some arguments with your tiers BUT I think this is a great idea! For a long, long time I have been attempting to put together THE ultimate overworld team and I just don't think it is doable. Luckily we have more team slots! Here is what I like atm Xianyun + Faruzan (you could use Kaz, but mines C6 so she turns XY into a mdps) + Furina (tho I hate her HP drain so so much) + Dehya I use this team for main story, other things MC plays a big part in = DMC + Mona + Fischl + Baizhu

Agree with the top tier charas by a lot, but as for the others, it's a give or take: - I'm inclined to put Childe by a tier higher only because bow users are extremely important for overworld puzzles. His CD is rarely a problem for me tbh. It only really becomes an issue when you're battling in the middle of the quest, and because the cutscene that follows prevent you from turning off his skill you end up with 45-sec CD afterwards lol. Would recommend bringing a sub-DPS with his team just in case but yeah, rarely an issue for me - Raiden can be used as a skill bot in the overworld, which can be a reliable source of full-uptime electro app for dendro DPSes like Tighnari. Miko would be better because her skill does significantly more damage, but Ei can be an option for those who don't have her - With Fischl, it's harder to maintain Oz uptime outside of domains tbh, but she does have the advantage of being a bow user so there's that - honestly I used to agree with Xiangling being this low, but these days I prefer her over Bennett in the overworld. Bennett's healing is too burst reliant, and it's capped. Xiangling, at a certain level of investment, can be usable as a Guoba bot, and it's good enough pyro app if you want to do funny melt numbers with someone like Ganyu

this was a nice video concept! overworld quality often feels underrated. its 100% why I dont regret getting units like yoimiya or most recently xianyun. I think raiden is a strange one because her burst feels so bad in overworld while her skill ends up being so good. It might be the easiest elemental aplication in the entire game and really helps characters like nahida and furina get reactions on their skills. On that note, nahida doesn't just deserve credit for her passive, which I usually forget about, but her unique aoe. It basically bypasses grouping and takes care of any enemy in annoying to reach spots without ever needing to so much as look at them. Raiden quickbloom with nahida, furina and baishu was one of my surprise favourites for overworld because of its superb skill uptime, low effort and aoe. Every burst you have up helps, but not one of them is essential to making the team work Another is Yoimiya, yelan, xq and dehya. Dehya has been a much better pick than bennett imo. Not only does he introduce burst/circle impact gameplay (though very manageable, unlike xianling). 99% of his kit just feels overkill and redundant in the overworld while dehya's E synergizes really nicely with XQ's E. Full interuption resistance and so much dmg resistance that XQ's healing becomes more than enough.

In the overworld for exploration, I really like: Kazuha, Zhongli and now Xianyun. Yoimiya is probably my favorite overworld dps, but I don't have Wanderer. I think YaoYao should be higher, she is a great healer for the overworld. I think Bennett is honestly bad for exploration because he doesn't heal enough and he have to use his burst to be useful. I will put most of Fontaine's characters in trash levels because I don't like the HP mechanics in exploration. Well, I think Furina can be useful, but I just don't like dealing with HP (I have it and rarely use it for exploring). Hu Tao has the same problem + stamina problem. Raiden is OK as an E bot but I don't like her for exploring. Childe is fine because he uses a bow and I only had some issues when fighting during the quest, other than that he is fine for me. Raiden and Childe are good for domain and boss fights, especially because nuke is a very powerful mechanic against bosses. It's true that Childe is that the abyss is better for AOE, but the bosses in the overworld cannot survive his burst.

these are the tier lists that no one is making and are super helpful 🙏🏽

My top overworld traversal team is: Wanderer, Kirara, Yelan, and Sayu, which covers flight, vertical traversal, dashing, etc.

Protip for Xianyun: if you time your skill jumps so that you "push off" the ground, you can get slightly more distance. Also, due to how physics works in-game, you are able to maintain horizontal momentum mid-air (you might have already encountered this while dashing off cliff edges). You can take advantage of this by spacing out your skill jumps to get free extra distance in between or afterward, particularly when traveling downhill. You need to be careful not to take too long in between skill jumps though, as it automatically deactivates after a certain time, which can lead to splatting if you're not ready for it.

Couple things that are important. So 5 star characters that increase ur movement such as yelan i don’t think u mentioned this but they let you increase your stamina back while 4 stars like sayu do not. This is actually pretty nice for when your on cool down you can run a bit and have stamina to do what ever while with 4 stars you don’t get ur stamina back up while using there skill. Also itto has his tree cutting passive where he gets more wood when cutting trees idk if that’s relevant lol. Thoma as well can be used in specialty cause he does help for fishing for the catch.

I think my favorite overworld team currently is Zhongli, Neuvillette, Kazuha, and Kuki. Yeah yeah, I know, premium units etc, but they’re great for clearing trash mobs, mining, and climbing. Only weakness is running, but since both Zhongli and Neuvillette are tall male characters, it’s not *that* bad (unless you’re in the Sumeru desert in which case nothing is more painful. I’m sure when I go to hell, Sumeru desert exploration will be my punishment)

Furina's water walking makes her unreplaceable in my overworld team in certain areas of the map. Kazuha and Zhongli I use all the time too.

faruzan has a funny niche with arrow time=trial challenges being the only 4 star (currently) with a pseudo charged (elemental skill) aim shot. this allows her to pop clumps of balloons or do exploding barrel challenges easier. geo mc is also a great character for trying to get to places where you are no supposed to, (i.e. furina's chair in the Palais Mermonia) since they can create climbable walls and platforms (w/o having to deal with zhongli's unadjustable constructs and albedo's jank flower)

Can you please make a video about using Dendro in Overworld? I've been trying to run it somewhat (I have Alhaitham/Kirara/Collei/DendroAether), but it seems that the overworld has waaaay to many things that constantly mess with the Dendro reactions I want. If I want to run mostly Aggravate - there is always a hydro slime, or a pond, or a fire - and it gets kicked into Burning or Bloom. If I want to run Bloom or Hyperbloom - there is again always a fire, or a fire slime, or a hilichurl with a torch - and a lot still gets wasted into Burning...

Don't forget Ningguang's ore radar. Also, Razor's hold E is equal to Zhongli's for mining, getting electrocharged on water being the only notable drawback.

as a yae miko main with lost prayer, it gives a 10% constant movement speed buff so she moves as fast as she ends fights. i find it very convenient. as another example of bias, when "exploring" overworld, i don't want these characters that use skills to run across a continent, i actually want to move at a controlled pace so i can scour every corner. just my opinion though.

Xiao is burst reliant. BUT, his normal attacks are soo cool (coolest in the game imo), and as someone who has crowned them; they dish out pretty good damage for the overworld. The elemental skill is a nice bonus

Dehya and Rosaria movement speed buffs. Twelve characters have stamina discount. Kirara and Aloy for fowl. Sayu and Yaoyao for crystalflies. Sayu was S-tier for mobile players before the crystalfly trap.

About heizhou one thing he also have is a decreased stamina consumption like kaeya, so being anemo (anemo res is cracked) and having normals infused is just amazing

Kuki is my go-to when i need to farm fish...apply skill, jump in water and swim around to electrify, then go back to collect. Xiao was my first 5* and I still use him a lot for OW content unless I'm fighting something with anemo resistance. The climbing passive is helpful and I love being able to plunge long distances without damage.

I play Kiara in most of my overworld teams. She might run slower than Yelan, but she goes over obstacles much better. Additionally, I find her shield to be quite strong. I also find Keqing really good in overworld, especially with the wind-powered wind generator gadget. Aside from helping her reach high places, it also helps with mining (plunge attacks).

i like this new to the game and cheking which and which to get and most of the guide are for abyss which is pretty much end game like nothing to do

addendum: mika also has specialty collection passive like klee; amber, collei, candace, and beidou have stamina reduction passives; and amber's baron bunny can also explode ores, and her aimed shot can break electro crystals with overload (its the only way to break them early game)

Love this! We need more people talking about which characters are good outside of abyss because while it's not as difficult it's actually (IMO) a lot better for new players. I'd make some changes though... - Sayu should be S-tier for being an anemo healer with a claymore with great mobility who doesn't scare away crystalflies. - Barbara should be A-tier for having a huge amount of non-burst-reliant healing when on-fielding her and her E can give you some passive healing while you're moving outside of combat. Also her C1 makes her burst passively regen energy which is nice in overworld as it's even regenning outside of combat. - Hu Tao should be in B-tier for having an infusion that isn't tied to a skill and doing great damage. The damage may be overkill for the overworld, but it's relevant for domains and bosses. - Nilou should be in A-tier for giving you insane AoE damage. The party restriction is annoying for overworld but no problem in domains. - Raiden should be B-tier for hyperbloom. - Lisa should be- oh, wait, you already put her there. Nice!

Xiao is solid A.His skill is pretty useful and climbing passive sometimes helps a lot

(im currently not that far into the video but the video title reminded me of what i did yesterday) i would place geo traveller in at least high tier. My friends and i were joking around, wondering if we could reach Furina's chair to sit on, since we couldn't climb the walls. I pulled out Zhongli and Geo traveller and said "lets find out." One of the friends I was with had Wanderer so he had an easier time getting up there with my help, but my other friend didnt have wanderer, so she followed me as i placed traveller's rocks to climb to the top. Best geo traveller moment ever XD
