This is one of my favorite songs on the album, this joint is crazy- I was drunk at a hotel bar one day having a conversation w/ a man in his 60s and we sharing stories of life back and forth , I had never met him before but we spoke like we knew each other for ever - at one point he looked at me and said “don’t you wish you could put your problems in a double shot and drink and em away” - I laughed and said “ain’t that what we are doing now” - I laid on my bed all night and thought - that would be a great song 🙏 -- blessings y’all.

Saw him live at the paladium in Worcester MA when he toured with ICP he was so chill we were tailgating in the parking lot together i had no idea who he was and come to find out he was one of the performers. I met 36 mafia that day too in the bar. Coolest shit ever.

Addiction is by far the hardest thing I've ever had to deal with in my 22 years of living. All of your music just speaks directly to my soul. Your voice and the amount of feelings you put into your music gives me this comforting feeling I desperately need... So powerful. I cant count how many times I've been here. Your music is like medicine to me. I've fought addiction and depression for as long as I can remember. My dr put me on xanax at 12 for insomnia and diagnosed me with PTSD and fibromyalgia at 19. I'm now 24 and a wife and mother. My husband and son saved my life. To say the least. Have siblings that get that psychosis when they use that. Mainly due to underlying psych issues such as bipolar or schizophrenia and lack of sleep n dehydration all play big part in it all. It's scary seeing someone go thru that. My prayers are with you.

Overdose? I'm sorry to hear that. I've lost so many friends because of addiction. Fentanyl. I died in 2019. On the side of I-75. To an overdose. Awful. Lucky to still be here. Unforgettable traumatic experience. My body was ice cold. Couldnt walk. I was definitely hanging by a thread when I was brought back. Anyway I hope your doing alright. unfortunately, that means you would have to carry the pain he carries. Everyone feels their own pain but idk its hard to judge. All I know is. The most depressed artists tend to put out str8 fire. In media, they usually are fire performers. Look at linkin parks lead singer. whether you like LP or not, tell me chester wasn't one of the BEST live performers. People who deal with serious demons, tend to put more passion into outlets such as art. Roll is one of the best.

I remember when I first got out of rehab and I had listened to this song it hit in so many different ways and also made things much better for me. Addiction is a scary thing and an evil disease. I really wish people had the education of what addiction really does to the mind and body. JellyRoll has truly made my life so so much better. I am so blessed that I found someone who knows what it’s like to struggle and also make their life so much better. It’s truly powerful. Music is knowledge music is power. Music is truth that speaks more than the heart can truly express.

What a blessing... My mom was the same. Had 2 have a man in her life . The last one almost beat her to death. Me and my 2 siblings left in a home alone with nothing but a bag of potatoes for like 4 days. Me and my sis in foster care (while my bro got to stay with grandma( my brother the "Golden Boy" now a WIFE beater!) & that isn't even 1/2 of my story. I could be so many things. After my release from prison I started building an empire and was successful until I found my father dead from gunshot suicide, I soon absorbed my mother's mortgage was raising a son and running a very successful business I started doing speed to keep up with all that was on my plate. My emotional wounds from a series of misfortunate events made me make ALOT of bad choices and loose accountability for everything else in my life... This was ALOT of context most won't read but I'm not talented like this man here. So I just wanted to share how it lead me to fentanyl and destroying my life again. I've lost five family members to suicide and countless close friends to it and overdosing. I've been to head doctors therapy they call it I just want to send a shot out to jellyroll for doing what he does best and it's been the best motivation and therapy for me, I call that stereo psychology.
