A masterclass? He couldn't mix for toffee in this set as he missing the big breaks and just played it safe Yes he's an icon and legend but not for live mixing as the classic 'falling down the stairs' sound heard at 1.25.30, ouch However, full credit for the tracks selected with some real bangers in there

My patient ask for Jellybean as I was about to scan him so I gave what he wanted. Funny thing is, he fell asleep in the scanner and I was bopping hard throughout the duration of the exam. After my patient who requested Jellybean was done, I continued playing on like a fever. Jellybean, you made my day, ROCK ON.....................

Jellybean tracklist reminds me of a typical playlist during his 81'-82' his peak years at the Funhouse. The kids from the Outer boroughs of NYC loved JB at Funhouse, Manhattan loved Larry, but the place where Love lived and saved us all was at 99 Prince Street. The home of David Mancuso, the Godfather of the Dance Music Party. By the way Jellybean is playing Club music, not Disco, not House. Club music is what we called it back in the day.

I know he slowed down, his music is still great the way he puts it together, but back in the day when he was in the FunHouse Manhattan NYC, at the time i think he was smashing the future artist at the time Madonna man he was killing it, i just remembered never getting out or off that dance floor. This guy has a great history. Jellybean keep it happening baby boy!!!

I could listen to Jellybean Benitez sets all day/all night. Great mix of old school jams. 13:09 Melting Pot mix into Wild Safari, brings back memories of the house and basement parties in the boogie down Bronx during the 70"s. This is classic dance music!

47:25 Dr. Love!!!! 44 years later and it still sounds fresh. I saw Rochelle perform about a year ago (pre covid) in Baltimore at a Teddy Douglas party. She is still so adorable. And I saw them perform many times at The Gayrage. The Sweethearts of PG. Omg !!! and as I'm typing this Loleatta!! My all time favorite DIVA. Saw her and Dan Hartman perform there also. Loleatta and Rochelle were roommates and lablemates.
