This slap bassline is damn sweet! It's a funk bass line that fits snuggly into glam rock! Well done to the unsung heros in the studio.

You could tell by the end of season 2 that the creators of the show began to realize that they needed to make the holograms music sound better because season 1 and the beginning of season 2 they realized how corny Jem and the hologram sound compared to the misfits

Well honestly I disagree about this. I used to think the same way, but making those extended mixes made me realize how solid Jem & The Holograms' songs actually are. I even tend to like them more than the Misfits' now. I mean Jem does have some duds but there are some truly outstanding tunes like Like A Dream, Music Is Magic, Glitter'N Gold, When It's Only Me, etc. It's more evident when you listen to the instrumentals and enjoy those killer basslines in all their glory. They even made me grow to love songs like Open A Book or Twilight In Paris.
