This is the big video I've been so nervous about. I thought it would take me more time, but then the finale happened and I just followed my muse, so to say. This is not a journey video or a character study, this is me trying to process how to say goodbye to my favorite character of all time.
She's been my inspiration for so many years and she will still be. I lost count of how many quotes by her I've used as my motto to encourage myself and face challenges.
I tried to include most of her pivotal moments and also to do justice to Elizabeth's acting. She's never given anything but the best in her scenes and Jemma wouldn't be the compelling, inspiring, realistic character she is without Lil.
I chose this song because it reminded me of the beauty of life, and how it can be hard sometimes but also so full of wonderful things. Or magnificent, as Fitz would say. I think there is no character who is more in love with life than Jemma. ♥

The Character Development. She went from the comic relief to the heart of the show. But she never lost herself, she’s still the same kind, compassionate, intelligent scientist. She’s just built more walls because she’s been hurt so much. But now they’re breaking down because she doesn’t have to keep them up anymore. Jemma is strong but she’s still that bubbly kid scientist saying “Ugh, Fitz!” And is just excited to be there. And I think that is powerful.

I really don't have any words for this masterpiece. Jemma has grown so much as a character. She was just a kid, who faced more than a thousand challenges and become a person we all look up to. That amount of pain could have broken anyone but instead she became stronger...never giving up on hope. Hats off to Elizabeth's acting. There is no one else who could have played Jemma except her.

This is exactly what I needed today and omg I love Jemma so much, she has grown so much throughout the series and Elizabeth is such a great actress! I can't wait to see what else she does. This is just an incredible journey into the character of Jemma and I could not be happier with it. It makes me *feel* everything all over and I swear I'm not crying.

Beautiful. She has been through so much, and yet she still only cares for others and always wants to help. Nothing that ever happens to her could possibly change what a wonderful person she is, especially when she has someone to fight for. Now she is an amazing mother living a happy life. She deserves it. This is so beautiful! Perfectly encapsulates why I love Jemma so much. She truly is the backbone of the team. Whenever anything goes wrong everyone turns to her. She’s been through so much but is always so strong and reassuring. I’m really gonna miss her but so happy that her and Fitz got their happy ending. Nobody deserved it more.

The fact that most speaking parts are from Andrew Garner despite them having so little screentime together... I totally lost it. I really wished they would've talked more before he went full Lash. They have more in common that it seems and you captured it perfectly in this video!

This is beautiful! Jemma is one of my favorite characters and this video did such an amazing job of showing her complexities and strong suits! And the parallels and quotes and music were all just incredible! I would love to see your take on the other team members as well! You are so talented!

I love this! I love Jemma! She is such a strong, well written, amazingly played character. She is my favorite too (with daisy and fitz right there) but she is the one I connected to the most. This is beautiful. We will always carry these fictional characters with us..

What a masterpiece. You truly capture the essence of the character every time. You connect the parallel lines, scenes and tie them in with a theme. I am in awe of your transitions between her struggles, from helping people through trauma (ending with Abby) to stars and clinging to hope. There are no words to properly capture how perfect this is. Simo, dimmelo che mi vuoi morta, confessa. 😭 Sei senza dubbio la Regina dei video su Jemma Simmons, si vede chiaramente quanto questo personaggio significhi per te e questo video ne è la dimostrazione: la musica, le scene, voiceover, tutto messo insieme perfettamente. Jemma è il mio personaggio femminile preferito di aos e il mio preferito in generale insieme a Fitz, che la supera giusto di mezzo scalino perché mi ci rivedo molto. La mia frase preferita di Jemma è “The steps you take don’t need to be big, they just need to take you in the right direction.” Sono parole così vere e che mi sono subito entrate nel cuore, riascoltarle nel tuo video mi ha fatto commuovere un casino. ❤️

Bio and Chem i guess but there's probably more technical terms to the specific subs because i remember coulson saying to her, "You have two PhDs in fields I can't pronounce."
