it's not a Scottish accent. it's literally how we pronounce it in Norway.

@@Mina-pl8cs Nah. When I worked with a girl called Guro in Stavanger I was teased for my pronunciation of her name - she said it with flatter vowels. Of course, Frøken Reiten may come from a part of Norway with unusually Scottishy vowels but I doubt it. Plus her little smirk gives it away.

@Alan Mac I'm norwegian. I have a very similar dialect to her. In Stavanger, they have skarre-r, which only that side of norway uses. Trøndersk doesn't sound like Scottish. It just has the rolling r. The way you pronounce things depends where in Norway, you are from. Don't try and argue with me, I know better than you, as I am Norwegian, and you are not.

@@Mina-pl8cs I know that accents change - in fact I allowed for that very possibility. Guro was mimicking Erin and exaggerating her vowels as a joke. Hence the smirk. "Don't try and argue with me, I know better than you, as I am Scottish, and you are not."" Plus I have worked in Norway whereas you've never even been to Scotland.

@@Alan_Mac i've heard the scottish accent and thats not scottish, thats norwegian. shes from a place not far away from trøndelag, and we have that dialect whereas we say Guro like that. norway has all sorts of dialects, and you worled in stavanger, shes from sentral norway, we have different dialects.
