Lecture delivered during the opening symposium of the Project IAEA TC POL9028 “Preventing Tissue Reactions in Interventional Procedures”, March 26-27, 2024
The project is implemented by the National Centre for Radiation Protection in Health Care (NCRPHC) as part of the International Atomic Energy Agency Technical Cooperation Programme for 2024-2025. The objective of the project is awareness of personnel involved in IR by promoting procedures where the patient’s radiological protection is part of good medical practice. Improved awareness on radiological protection will also promote the optimisation of the radiation protection of personnel.
