This just became my all-time favorite performance of this piece:-) So many guitarists play the first section too fast, but Tatyana extracts so much delicious subtly!

I like this better in Dm I transcribed Breams version on his record which was in Em The last 16th note second measure is a C# I believe. Dresden Manuscript

Since I have a seven-string guitar (Brazilian) I've toyed with the idea of arranging it in C Minor, maybe using Walter Abt's unique Baroque tuning or maybe a D Minor tuning.

I like the way Tatyana play guitar in many ofher vidos but I don’t agree with this interpratation, sorry… firxt part is very very slow, romantic way just exagerated, and the fugue… very very fast playing un a way to xhow off. As a resukt we miss a lot of the the majesty, the counterpoint was written for a slow tempo. To end it there is à wrong note at the end of the third arpeggio in the beginning. sorry but to my opinion the music is not understood.

@@Marvin77744 well you notice what you choose to notice, that’s your way to understand my comment and you are completly wrong. First : I am very respectful to Tatiana’s work on YT and I wrote that in the first part of my comment, second : it’s right I did not expand or work on my youtube channel (witch is not really a YT channel) as Tatiana’s channel BUT I ask you a question: do all musicians have to develop a KZfaq channel to have permission to make a remark or criticism about an interpretation? I don’t think that there is just one way to play certain style of music or period and I appreciate when some strong and powerfull decisions are made by some musicians (think about Yamashita for example), and I admire that, but… I allow myself to say that some direction are not my taste. Thank you for not making the comment space too dictatorial, freedom of expression (when it is respectful) will thank you for it.

This was terrible, pacing was all over the place, the rhythmic passages were played like it was for a circus act.. ! Better luck next time, I'm disappointed.
