Hey Jen, I love packing videos and learned new things (bum bag doesn't count as carry on as one of the things I've learned, thank you!). Received packing cubes as a gift and will use for my Disneyworld trip in Dec and my cruise on the Wish. I'm also going to my first party, the Christmas party. My partner and I also splurged on 2 nights at AKL. So excited!

Love this video! My family of three just got off a 7 day Fantasy cruise and took only carry-on luggage. I did a capsule wardrobe and a load of laundry once on the ship. It’s totally possible! Thank you for showing the process! ❤️

Glad you did the follow-up part. Even though I know everything is going to fit into the suitcase for the trip home (barring any large purchases on the trip), I always panic when I lay everything out and it seems like too much to fit in.

Just a heads up or PSA about the bum bag. I wore my Lululemon one across my chest on a flight on Delta in May 2022 to Seattle from LA and they counted it as a personal item right boarding the plane at the gate. Asked me to check in my actual personal item a duffle. Good thing I could stuff it in my duffle. But wearing the bum bag as an additional personal item may work for some people, on some flights; but not all.

This is such an annoying rule. I have a health condition that requires me to carry meds on my person at all times and they’ve made me do this before. I just stuff it in the bigger bag and then take it back out again at my seat. So annoying and senseless

It's funny because as I was watching, I was thinking about unpacking videos I've seen before, and wondering if I should request one instead of a packing video, then I got to the end. Although just because I didn't wear something doesn't mean I wish I didn't bring it, depending on what it was.

Your so lucky…you can take lightweight things. We usually have to take sweaters and rain/ cold weather coats etc….. Even in the med…it can get cold getting there,and sometimes even when your there. We go to the fjords too….cold!! I also pack everything in little bags..and cubes…So much easier and tidier. 👍❤️

Hi Jen, i love your packing videos. We were also just on the Wish from August 29th to September 2nd, i am wondering if you were on the same cruise as us. I wish I would have run into you. And yes, it is very cold on the ship, definitely need that extra layer. Can’t wait for the vlogs.

Jen, I'm sailing on the Wish next month. Could you tell me how far it is from the Disney Shuttle Drop off at Port Canaveral to stepping foot on the ship? I am mobility challenged and don't want to bring a wheelchair or mobility aid if I don't have to as I won't need it on the ship.

So, it's really not far at all. Very short from the curb to security and after that You go up the escalator and then it's truly just getting to the other side of the terminal to board from there. I hope that helps! Next week's video you'll get a better sense of how far it is I think?

I thought that brand sounded familiar, and then I remembered where. If it's Jen approved, I know it's of good quality.

Donna it's been a life long quest to get where I am now and bottom line you just have to decide if taking all the things is worth the hassle. If it is, then stay as you are! And yes, my Away luggage has BEEN THROUGH IT and it's still going strong.

Only because I needed to be able to wear it on my back when I got on the cruise ship. The Everywhere Bag is still my first choice but if I don’t have the roller bag with me it gets heavy on my shoulder.

@@JenLefforge Based on your wonderful videos, I purchased the Away regular carry on and Everywhere Bag for a 2-week trip for a Mediterranean Cruise on Viking. I do not yet know the baggage specs of the airline out of LAX and out of Venice. Do you think there is any chance that I can do this without checking a bag. If not, I will purchase the Away Medium suitcase. It just feels so risky checking a bag.

Please solve an argument between my wife and I. When we are on vacation, I fold our dirty clothes and keep them piled in a spot on the floor. I transfer them to our suitcase ( I prefer to wash any clothes I can before we return home but it is not always possible) still folded when we pack to come home as I feel like it conserves space just like when we left. My wife just wants to throw them in. Do you ever fold your dirty clothes to pack them to bring them home? I also usually put them inside a scented trash bag and squeeze it as vacuumed closed as I can to keep the odor at bay. My wife says I need packing cubes...not convinced yet. Also, looking forward to seeing your adventure. We're headed on the Wish in October and I have been worried we won't enjoy it as much as the other ships as I've watched several vloggers with several concerns that made them not fully enjoy the ship as much as they had hoped! Hopefully, we will and I hope you did as well.

Well, Richarda, I'm siding with your wife here. I just throw them in the bag I showed BUT I push them in there pretty diligently so they compress down. So far I've had no issues with them not fitting that way? Hope I didn't just cause marital discord LOLOL Oh and I LOVED the ship. Truly. The few things that bothered me were very trivial and didn't impact my enjoyment one bit!
