My dog Taylor was a chihuahua and we got her when she was around 5 years old. 5 more years go by and all of a sudden we all noticed she wasn't reacting to our hand movements. She went blind and the day before she was fine. At first, it was hard, but after a few months, she knew where all the furniture was. She also knew where the kitchen was. The only thing she couldn't do was go up and downstairs leaving my apartment building. She passed away last year and I gave her absolutely everything I could. I even bought her one of those inflatable cones from feeders supply so she wouldn't bump into anything. I had a bunch of people tell me to put her down years before I did and it honestly made no sense to me because she still did normal dog things. She got in the trash, would sniff out my dinner plate, rolled on my bed and outside in the grass, etc. I love your podcasts by the way! I have a hard time getting into other ones, but you guys never disappoint :) I always start the video cleaning and by the end, I'm stuck in my computer chair laughing
