I went to see Jennifer Hudson LIVE at Atlanta's Fox Theatre twice in same week April 2009. I was personally told by Jennifer that there would be a few surprises at the second show so I had my camera READY! This was the first of 2 suprises - the second was Jennifer Holliday joining Jennifer Hudson at the end of the show for "And I'm Telling You..." This may be the only time they sang this song together LIVE. Another EPIC performance.

***** Yeah, I'm not hating on anybody. I think Idol has produced a lot of talent all across the different musical genres. But if I had to pick one single artist that has consistently moved me it has to be miss Fantasia Barrino. I love her authenticity. She is genuine in every sense of the word. I cry when she sings. I feel moved when she sings. I get goose bumps when she sings. I feel like jumping up and waving my arms in the air when she sings. Few artist can authentically represent the heart and soul of black music like she can. She is up there with legends like Mahalia Jackson and Mavis Staple and even then she does things that they didn't. She personalizes the music she preforms. She interprets it according to her experience. Fantasia is nothing short of AMAZING!

Well 1st time i've heard them together and I really can't pick between them. Jen's purity of tone is amazing vs. Fan's raw emotion and stage presence - wow! I'll say this - their season on AI was the best by a substantial margin - I was glued to the set that year - not since then.
