You'd be surprised...at these auditions there's LOTS of people who can vocally tear a song up. You can't go by what you hear, alone.

This is why they should have these singers sing live for movie musicals. Nothing is better for a musical movie than amazing singer/actors pouring their hearts out in the moment. When a track is pre-recorded, it loses the real, raw passion that comes out like it does here.

See, Beyonce 's Jennifer, I saw another post that said I like Fantasia version better. Diana Ross, Whitney, and Stephanie all sang "Home" I have never once heard anyone say which version liked best, or tried to make a competition out of those three women. They were/are great singers in their own right, with their style, this stuff comes from that younger generation. Grown woman don't do that to each other.

only her and the original Effie on broadway the great Jennifer Holliday could BLAST THIS SONG OUT OF THE WATER with the emotion and gusto it needs! seen many attempt it on talent shows AND kudos to them for doing it as its a difficult song to get right as it is a powerful song but no one will come near both jennifers in my opinon but there have been a few as i said that have got close on tallent shows like x factor , american idol ect 😉
