Jennifer Lopez is showing off her new engagement ring, and it sure is unique. Ben Affleck re-proposed to Lopez 20 years after they first got engaged. This time, he gave her an extremely rare green diamond ring, weighing in at 8.5 carats, set with a white diamond on either side. The 52-year-old singer recently wrote on her blog that green was her favorite color, and referenced an eye-popping green Versace gown she wore to the Grammys in 2000.

I spent less than $1,000 on my wife’s engagement ring and she bounced up and down incredibly happy. Pretty sure I could have just bought her a metal band with no diamond on it and she’d have the same reaction.

This is supposedly going to be her fourth marriage, actually. Bruce Dickinson of Iron Maiden swore off relationships after his second marriage failed. He knew to stop after that because he’s smart and talented like all guys that have come and gone in Iron Maiden. Jennifer Lopez is neither of those things and she doesn’t have the class that Bruce Dickinson and other current members and some former members of Iron Maiden have. The only thing JLo has over anybody that has come and gone in Iron Maiden is her looks, particularly her boobs and rear end. Yes, she has more money than all of them put together, but I personally don’t think that’s an advantage. More money just means more privilege and more to worry about. Money can’t buy class, nor can it buy talent.
