He is not showing off in this video but quite often on his channel he is and that is probably with the intent to silence his critics. I've seen his videos where he is singing live in the car to prove he is singing live because probably trolls say he isn't. Here his whistle tones were done tastefully and in the class of Mariah Carey done judiciously and just enough in the right places. That is not always the case with some of his KZfaq videos though. As a Christian he knows the principle of giving not from yourself but through yourself. When a skill is exercised to showcase a talent in a giving way it enriches the audience and you don't feel robbed in the sense you feel you are being demanded or expected by the skill demonstrated to be in awe. Here, the skill of flageolet singing was executed in a giving, classy and tasteful manner not out of place and not overkilling the song.

Gabriel Henrique is a Christian singer, since he was a child he sang in church, he didn't take singing lessons, he is an auditor, a rough diamond, known for his humility and simplicity, he doesn't speak English❤

Gabriel nailed it. Unfortunately, some haters judged Gabriel as just a guy who can whistle. These people don't understand all the complexity and beauty in what he sings. AGT is an entertainment contest, not a talent contest. It's sad to see someone like him out of the finals.

Jennifer, Gabriel never sings a song the same way everytme he sings it. He is a master at creativity and he allows the song to breathe and the moments he creates with anything he does is stunning!!! He is a vocal savant, without some of the other issues that might come with being a savant. His creativity is ina genius level vocally. The talent just oozes out of this guy!!! Great reaction. ❤

It's so pleasurable to see someone reacting to Gab with such broad interpretative capacity! so sensitive✨ Some “haters” say that Gab exaggerates/screams/has no emotion, but I think that, in reality, they are so limited that they cannot believe that he is singing naturally.
