I’m a native New Yorker from Spanish Harlem and believe me when I tell u back in those days all the aunties in the neighborhood were into Sir Tom Jones. With all that sexiness and swag about him.,not to mention that beautiful soulful voice! Oh he was very much out there. Alfonso is too young to know that.

I’m at the age that I can actually say I lost count how many times I saw Sir Tom Jones perform live. He came to Florida quite often. My mother was a huge fan. It was cheaper to see him perform, then to hire a babysitter for two kids. So needless to say, my mother would take my sister and I to his concerts.

Tom Jones was big in our Neighborhood when we were kids because our older sisters were in love with Tom Jones. My younger sister and I used to sneak and spy on our older sisters and their girlfriends and stay up to watch him on late night television but were busted when I started uncontrollably laughing and wheezing at the same time. Those were the days.😅😂😂

Alfonso everyone knew who Tom Jones was in nyc since he was young way before Carlton on the fresh prince. Carlton didn’t make him know. Tom was known years before he was probably born all over nyc in Brownsville Brooklyn, Harlem , Bronx if he doesn’t know ask someone. Everyone knew who Tom was for years. He also had a variety show back in the days

In response to whether or not Tom Jones is black; my husband's boss, who is black, worked at the fanciest hotel in our town in the 1980s. Tom Jones came to town & stayed at that hotel. He asked my husband's boss if our town had a good black club & he told him yes. Mr. Jones asked him to take him to it. He said when they walked in the club, Mr. Jones walked off & left him, & he never saw him again. I think he is, but regardless of his race, he's hot.😄

Love this.. Tom is THE legend.. There's a very good reason why Elvis not only respected Tom, but they were best pals and Tom spent time at Graceland on Holiday.. Elvis knew he was a GREAT singer and they held eachother in a very high regard! Fact Tom can STILL outsing 99.9,% of people just shows his talent. I LOVE seeing Jennifer and Tom Sing together, her respect for him is so heart felt and great to see!

Back in the day when he came on the scene, women went crazy over him. Appearing on many talk and variety shows, but then he got his own show. Wherever he went women would actually throw their bras and panties on stage. Word has they were wearing them at the time 😂

My grandmom turned me on to him back in the 60s when I was a tot (somewhere between 4 and 6 yrs old). Now that I am getting ready to turn 60 next month I am still in love with him! I am constantly looking for him on YT to hear him sing be it his channel or the voice. BUT when I hear you two sing or "SANG' all I could do is smile from ear to ear! I do not blame you for having a crush on him, that MAN still got it going on!
