I'm a huge mixed media fan, and I love the multi-layering of these backgrounds. They are so elegant when used as the ground for a focal point. I haven't used these techniques in a while, and I am now inspired to use them again. Thank you, Jennifer, for sharing!

I love this idea of creating bAckgrounds that become a T.O.Y card to a birthday card to a GW card to a Christmas card to a Halloween themed card. The concept is so versatile. You are so talented, inspiring and loved by many. Thank you 😊

WOW… Amazing… my FAVORITE Video of yours… I lOVE mixed media and have done art journals for years although I’ve been doing maybe too much collage lately and have missed this style of creativity from feeling a bit stuck… so I really appreciate this video even more because it makes me want to PLAY… and I will certainly come back to it for future encouragement. Pretty backgrounds. Good idea to use a plastics bin as the spray box! Easy to clean up and looks better than the cardboard box I have for that purpose. TFS! 🙏🌸😎

Beautiful backgrounds! I love the color block look. The TH Brayer has a very uncomfortable handle so I only use it for glueing and use the more comfortable speedball Brayer for these techniques.. Thanks Jennifer, so many fabulous ideas for using up backgrounds. I love the use of the new SSS window panel die, makes spacing those squares so easy, which has always been the fiddliest part of doing those cards. I also loved your final butterfly card in the video. So clever and looked stunning.

OH, I just loved this! It demonstrates the true JOY of creating; too often I focus on the finished product rather than the process. I forget that the goal is NOT a completed, "perfect" card, but enjoyment and using God-given talents to create and hopefully bring a little happiness to another. I am stunned that the "blue" background with lots of geometric shapes, ended up being a gorgeous Christmas card. How absolutely delightful to play with so many techniques and products at the same time! Jennifer, this is truly my favorite video of yours of all time, and I have been a fan for many years. Magical, indeed!

This video is over the moon Jennifer! It was fun to watch and the results are crazy good. I have yet to use my brayer or paste and will make some mica sprays of my own. I have tons of strips from backgrounds I’ve done and your techniques are perfect for using them. I’m excited to look through what I have.
