Have watched a bunch of videos since them and am about to try to make your lace flower for my granddaughter for Easter. I must say I enjoy for videos. It's like listening to an old friend. I would watch them even if I wasn't going to make anything!!! You are so precise and I can actually understand how to do things!!! I am going to go to Etsy and try to find your items for sale. Ants hate cloves, so sprinkling whole ones will make them run from that area, easy to clean up too.. but if you don't mind the smell - oil of clove - can be brushed anywhere you don't want them. I am allergic to everything, so this is a great alternative.

Use corn meal. This method is especially great around pets or children, as corn meal by itself is not poisonous. The ants will carry it home and try to eat it, but they can't digest it properly. Be sure to put corn meal wherever you see that the ants like to frequent. Hope it works 4 you Fi. It got rid of mine a few yrs back. Hugz Tonniece

Re the ants: if you can find where they come in, and where their trail is, tuck bay leaves (dried leaves from the spice cabinet) in along their trail. We did that, and haven't seen one since.

How much of the tulle do you wish to have left lol lol lol Nope I wouldn't do it, but I have used the heat gun to crinkle tulle in very short bursts :) xx

Do you know the tick for the boy dog foo bowls? Take a pie tin or shallow plate fill with water and place the dog dish in the middle. The ants can't cross the water to get to the food. Also for the house we use an ant killer in granuals looks like saw dust and surround the house. Works like a charm but one thing my home has no basement. They can only get in from the sides. I just hate the buggers. Before I new this trick i woke up to them moving a nest under my front door! Ok for the boys.
