It's really hard at first. Just take your time when making the videos and don't burn yourself out because it doesn't blow up over night. Learn editing that fits your style. Make sure to get lots zoom in and outs and lots of pictures. Gopros and a good camera always help. It helps to have a good pic or catchy picture for your thumbnail. Learn how to do slow mo's and I got the music app so I didn't run into copyright problems. Music that copyrighted was a big problem at first for me. Make sure to look over and over for typos. Have someone else even look over for typos. I make them all time. If you use imovie make sure to put 1080 pick in front of your video and the delete when done or it will be 760. I always ask friends to share it on their social media for more views. I have crumby wifi and it takes a long time to download so i save it to disc and take it to a faster place to download. I noticed the caption normally gets the video into the algorithm. First time, how to, stuff like that. Good luck everyone!

how do I save a video to come back to. Like if I want to do a review on a product and show the progress over a couple days time? Do I have to have a certain app for that, I'm using my smart phone.

Do you have any suggestions for finding a good (but not too expensive) microphone that would work with my android phone? I’ve tried two lavalier style wireless microphones from Amazon. Couldn’t get either one to work right with my phone. Quite frustrating.

But wait, how do I get the video from my iphone to the computer? or does everyone edit videos on the phone? Seems like it may be easier to edit on a larger screen? I have an iphone 14 pro and a PC with Windows 11 home. I want to have a setup in my garage woodworking shop. Any thoughts or ideas?

Jen thank you for this step by step information. This step by step instruction is what I'm looking for. Still, I need some PRE-INFORMATION as well. I have a home computer. I've never used any function about recording video's of my own, but want to. Not to confuse you, or anyone else reading my comments, but I also have an I-phone as well, where I already know how to take video's, on a phone, for myself (I'm in my mid 50's. I'm not stupid, just technologically impaired, if you understand my analogy). What I NEED to know, is HOW do I make a video on my home computer and save it to some hard drive, if even I have to save it, or pass it on to my computer, so to speak, so I can get to the point where I can follow the steps you mentioned in this video! I've never done something like that on my home computer. I know it has a camera which I never use. Where do I go in the computer to active the camera and what do I press to let the camera start recording? Once I find a way to do THAT, how do I save it, or do I need to save it? Maybe you already have a video on that. I'll look. Thanks.
