I can't believe it took us this long to make a movie like this. I'm super excited. Hooray for representation!

Anyone notice she never kisses her fiance once in that trailer? If it were a straight couple there would have been a million notebook-like kiss scenes. They even TALK about them kissing in the trailer, but never show it (which is why everyone thinks they have no chemistry). She says she's never been more certain of anything in her life other than marrying Alexis Bledel and then... hugs her? :-/ I mean, baby steps I guess but I wish there was at least one actual gay actress in this cast and that the whole thing didn't seem to be about her upper class wasp-y parents having to accept she's gay. There are more interesting movie conflicts than that at this point.

Of course it's predictable. Every rom-com under the sun is predictable. But this is about LESBIANS AND IT'S NOT MAKING FUN OF THEM OR SEXUALIZING THEM FOR THE SAKE OF STRAIGHT MEN? I AM SO HERE FOR THIS!

So Jane (Katherine Heigl) from 27 Dresses decided that after attending 27 weddings as a made of honour and breaking up with James Marsden, she decided that she was gay? I'm buying it.

This movie is very underrated, everyone in this movie did fantastic job. I hate wedding movies because they all are super cheesy, but this one blew me away. I was mesmerized by Jenny’s mom and the depth of her character, I also deeply loved Anne and how her character developed throughout the movie. This movie is not about wedding, but the family and friends you love. I always like to watch and study movies about what they are trying to teach us, is there something bigger meaning. And this movie has so much depth in all characters, their body language, their facial expressions, their words and what they mean. I haven’t seen a movie with this much depth and character developement in years. Very underrated movie, give this movie a chance and watch it with a open mindset, you will be surprised how good this movie really is. I sure was mesmerized and glued to my sofa from beginning to the end.

I was so excited for this project when it was announced and I will almost certainly still watch it, but if this trailer is anything to go off of the relationship between Katherine Heigl and Alexis Bledel's characters doesn't seem all that convincing to me.

Bad casting. I love Alexis, but she looks like she could be Katherine's daughter. :/

Cant believe i just found this, it's a really good, organic movie, about just people, no religion, no highschool drama, nothing out of the ordinary just coming to show how difficult and important are some moments. I loved it

the dialogue in this film had me in stitches if you did a shot of whiskey every time they mention lawn or grass you might as well throw a new years party haha

this will be a good movie, simply because the story touches people, relates to people in real life, we need movie like this :)

Eyyy! Finally a lesbian romcom that doesn't include weird tropes like threesomes with men or suicide! Hopefully the next one won't have to include the coming out process now that gay marriage is legal in the states and it will become more normalized (though I understand it's still a story that needs to be told for today's gay youth still struggling). Will definitely check it out once it's out.
