Well done for hearing that Jenny and Screech were twins These sort of things do happen Ren saw a short report of a 14 year old boy killing a woman in a knife attack in a newspaper. He started imagining how that could happen and wrote these three tales Fyi Ren is a Nate Dogg fan so you may have caught his influence at the begining

Next suggestions. His band The Big Push, 'I Shot the Sheriff/Road to Zion/Hip Hop'. You get to see him sing & play electric guitar, he's a great performer. His bandmates are very talented also. Good to see that side of Ren. Also, The 'Money Game' Trilogy. They're related by topic but you can watch them separately, no problem. Money Game 3 has won a bunch of music video awards internationally, it's incredible. Great reaction today!

❤ This gal RENegade absolutely loves your now second and 1/3 Ren reactions. You are such a true human. Very genuine. You will start to get many many suggestions from here, what I always tell people new to Ren is to just go to his channel and do a reaction to whatever stands out to you. His catalog is so deep you don't have to worry about running out of his music. I agree the money game 1-3 is a must see. I think you should do HUNGER first take a quick breather from his more serious stuff than go into money game. You wont be disappointed I promise!!!!❤ From ND USA

He saw an article in the paper about a 14 year old boy murdering a street walker and wrote these songs about the tragic tales of unfortunate people who never really had a chance at life. A story that plays out somewhere every day.

The only true part of this is that it was inspired by an article Ren read about a 14-year-old boy that stabbed a prostitute to death. Everything else was from the mind of Ren.

Yea, and that boy was shot later that evening as well. According to the article "It's such a shame" was what a police officer at the site stated.

After Ren saw the article, he wondered why something like this happens. Ultimately, the trilogy is about transgenerational violence: All three men (Violet's father, Stevie and James aka Screech) were violent. The women (Violet's mother, Violet and Jenny) were silent. On the other hand, it sheds a light on why Screech was like he was. If you check out the lyrics closely, you will find that Ren does not sing "Violet was a silent girl grew up with VIOLET STARS...", he sings "grew up with violeNt starTs...". Just genius. Thanks to @lanapeterzon9055 for pointing me at that.

Ren is a brilliant storyteller. And it all came from a little newspaper article Ren wrote about a young kid killing a young prostitute. He wrote Violets Tale years after Jenny & Screech. So talented and unique ❤

One point to think about …. It’s very possible that Stevie ISN’T the twins’ father … because the only way Violet would get a council house at 16 would be because she was already pregnant - with her FATHER’s child.

Yeah, he just did that 😅 Ren is a modern day bard painting such vivid imagery with his storytelling that it pulls you in and forces you to keep watching - even when it gets physically uncomfortable during Violet’s Tale. And Ren uses this ability to shed light on far too real issues in the world. Ren is special. Anyway great reaction! Now you get to wait in eager anticipation with the rest of us, cause Ren has said that he and his cinematographer Sam have plans to film a pilot to pitch to Netflix at some point. It was originally going to be while Ren is back in the UK after finished treatments in Canada and before moving to the US, but then he accidentally went and made an album that wasn’t planned 😅 All we know is that it will be in the same raw style as this trilogy, but that is enough for me to say that if Netflix doesn’t give Ren his own show, they are fools 😂
