Original Soundtrack Composer - Nobou Uematsu.
Remake by - CinemAsif.
I decided to recreate the OST of FINAL FANTASY VII with the original midi sound font used on the PlayStation One port of the game. My remake of the OST (Disc One) focuses on staying faithful to the original sounds heard in the game, whilst also enhancing and improving it. I wanted to create something that really encompassed the spirit of the game in 1997, but also with a new drumbeat too. I've enjoyed remaking this, I hope you enjoy listening to this.

I always felt like Jenova Absolute was missing something because it just didn't slap like J-E-N-O-V-A did. I think your addition of J-E-N-O-V-A's main riff into Jenova Absolute did a lot for it. JENOVA itself is a really tricky song. It's gotta be one of my all-time fave video game tracks, but I haven't heard any good fan remixes yet. Even yours, unfortunately... it's weird because anything relatively faithful is underwhelming, but any attempts to heavily innovate in it just breaks the track imo. But I digress. I dig what you did for this track. I look forward to the rest, and also Square Enix's rendition of it in the remakes!

I agree that adding the main keyboard riff really adds to this track, something about the bass in it is missing some oomf but overrall it’s a really great rendition
