When Matt did this GMA interview a week ago, it's now apparent that he knew he'd already lost but he was not allowed to divulge that info since Jeopardy is filmed months in advance. Unfortunately tonight, a week after this interview aired, the episode where he was defeated just aired. So sad to see him go! He was such an amazing, incredibly knowledgeable, and humble contestant who truly deserved his long run. Looking forward to seeing him in the Championships!
