Executive producer Mike Richards said the legendary host, who died in November and filmed the episode 10 days before his death, didn’t know this episode would be his last.

The 100% GOAT pronunciator, the man could fluently say anything like it was his daily vocabulary I always loved that about him. RIP the show wont be the same without your voice.

I love Alex. Every night I talk to the tv and tell him. But I feel bad for the original host of Jeopardy from 1964-75 and 1978-79, Art Fleming. He made the show addicting first. Sadly, he too passed from pancreatic cancer after learning his diagnosis only 2 weeks prior.

What's creepy about Art Fleming and Alex Trebek is that both hosted jeopardy and both died of pancreatic cancer and both were cremated. Art died in 1995 at 70 two weeks after finding out and Alex died in 2020 at 80 almost two years after finding out. Also both names start with A. That is creepy. Sort of like the similarities between Abe Lincoln and JFK.

This Orillia Ontario Canada 🇨🇦 fan will miss you very very much Alex. I know that you have a Jeopardy game going on up in Heaven. My Dad will be one of your contestants. He passed away July 10 days shy of his 89th birthday. Miss you and Love you Dad and Alex. I read your book Alex,it is an AWESOME read 👏 ❤🙏 Jean looked after Alex,as my Mom looked after my Dad for the last four years of his life. God Bless you Jean, Matthew and Emily. 🙏❤🇨🇦

I keep thinking that back in march 2020 he said he couldn't wait to go back to his doctor and have a nice conversation with him celebrating 2 years since the diagnosis. And he said that when he felt like it was time to stop he would want a few minutes to talk to the camera at the end but he never got the chance to. So sad but things like this happen. For one, he was 80 and second, he had stage 4 pancreatic cancer. That's not a high survival rate.

I always enjoyed Alex Trebek. He was the comsumate professional game show host. My wife never missed an episode of his until the last one. He will be totally missed.

March 2019 - October 2020 is 20 months not 18 months, so he battled cancer for 20 months

He could've had it before march 2019 but wasn't diagnosed until March. And he died in November which is 20 months.

@@jonathanfalkowsky672 If he was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer at that date, he likely had cancer for AT LEAST a year before his diagnosis. It could have been as many as 5 years or more before it was noticed

@@02SplinterCell02 I know and he also had other health issues. In the last 15 years, he had surgery for a brain clot and 2 heart attacks.

I've seen a few posts saying knew (even Alex) Knew last Friday's show would be his final episode. But from what he said @ the end of the episode & get the feeling he knew it was @ least a possibility. Hard to believe he hosted for 36 years. Correct me if I'm wrong but this Jeopardy is a reboot from a 50-60's version right ??
