@@knuble I knew that Conan Doyle played under a pseudonym to escape any fans/media being aware.. I thought maybe it might have been the same thing with Bohr, as a known physicist.. Fun fact: after drawing all three of their group games at the 2010 World Cup (Paraguay, Slovakia, and Italy), New Zealand's FA released a commemorative DVD titled 'Undefeated'. No other team at that World Cup could have released a DVD of the same name.

Not sure about the New Zealand question as there are a number of times a team has been unbeaten in groups but not made the knockout round.
@chrisgreenhough27923 ай бұрын
@@martinwebb4897 If I recall correctly their angle was more that they were the only one of the 32 teams to go undefeated in that World Cup (pretty sure that's correct, but happy to be challenged on it).
@martinwebb48973 ай бұрын
@@chrisgreenhough2792 you are correct in relation to the 2010 World Cup but Nieve's guess of Angola would have been 2006 & no actual World Cup was specified. Scotland 1974 Cameroon 1982 England 1982 Belgium 1998 All fit as unbeaten teams in group play (England in 2 group phases in 82) who didn't reach the knockout phase.

I saw a documentary about him recently, and saw that he played under a pseudonym so as to avoid the press. Didn't remember that he played in goal, but had no idea about Niels Bohr - i remember him coming up in my chemistry classes about the structure of atoms or something, along with 4 other guys that built on his (or someone else's) work.
@martinwebb48973 ай бұрын
@@dylansharkey6040I got that. ACD had been in goal for Portsmouth as well as taking 1 first class wicket as a cricketer (the batsman was WG Grace). Niels Bohr & his brother were both played football and his brother was involved in the 1908 Olympic Final.
