His past was long time ago that should be ignored. Doesn't make sense to bring it back to light after the situation was delt with. He was great host and if not the host, a great EP of Jeopardy that didn't deserve cancel culture treatment from stuff so many years ago. People can change after years. Buzzy Cohen needs to do it. He's got the charisma, intelligence, and snark that Alex had and his mother literally gave him the name of a game show host. No one else has been as enjoyable to watch. Some of the guests hosts even spent too much time reading questions. I don't know who needs to see this but Buzzy is the answer.

The host always needed to be someone without a lot of baggage so the players are the focus. And having someone with a connection to the show to tie the past with the future. The only one to fit that bill is Buzzy Cohen. He did a great job with the ToC. Stop this ridiculous guest host roulette and try to repair some of the damage that’s been done.

Alex Trebeck is rolling around in his grave because his show that he himself made popular is in turmoil after his replacement ended up in hot water for controversial comments he made on a podcast while working on the price is right and after that he got fired as executive producer.

Burton should take over. He helped educate kids on Reading Rainbow, inspire adults on ST:TNG, and promote black history with Roots. (sarcastic commentary to follow) I think he'd be a great host, as long as he didn't say stuff about min*rity trans*xual r*tards in the early 80s or som'n. The good lord knows that some teenager has every right to be offended by something he may have said twenty years before their dad ate the oatmeal that would one day be the sp**ge on their mom's cervix.

I’m still for Ken, but they need to do a serious search and not just have guest hosts that are never going to quit their day jobs. Levar did not do a good job, but here’s a thought, Wheel of Fortune might need a new host in a year. Wouldn’t Levar be good for that show?

Name Levar Burton as the permanent host and end the ongoing agony. What's so hard about that. I have been a loyal fan of Jeopardy for the past 30 years, but I don't know if I can endure another "search" for God knows how long. Maybe I won't continue watching at all. I could resort to playing the Jeopardy Archive games online. There's also the added benefit of not having to sit through the insipid commercials. That would certainly be a plus. Maybe they should do something daring and name Quentin Tarantino as the guy. Can you imagine him being able to restrain himself from jumping in and running the Movie category, before the contestants had a chance to hit the buzzer? Our nation turns its lonely eyes to you, Alex.

Ken Jennings, Buzzy Cohen, Aaron Rogders, are three fan favorites. Levar Burton might be a good man but he's not a fan favorite to get the job. Ken Jennings is who we've wanted from the beginning.

Buzzy Cohen is the obvious choice for the permanent host. Buzzy has shown that he is a smooth and personable host, who focuses on the game and the contestants. Furthermore, Buzzy has shown that he actually knows the facts, unlike many of the hosts. Buzzy won Jeopardy 9 days in a row, then came back later and won a Jeopardy Tournament of Champions. Buzzy was also clearly well-liked by Alex Trebek, who called Buzzy "Mr. Personality". And Buzzy is just 36 years old, meaning that he could potentially host the show for many decades. The only other possible permanent host would be Ken Jennings. But Jennings has said he doesn't want the job, and furthermore he has made some politically incorrect comments on the internet that might disqualify him for some people. And as a guest host, Ken was one of the best, but I'd say that Buzzy was just a bit better.
