I used to be a hardcore fan of R5 but I haven't really been in on it for the last few years. Help me out. The band didn't break up completely but they're on a temporary break for the Driver Era? Does the rest of the band still play shows with them though? And I'm aware that Rydel and Ellington broke up some time ago, but is he still in the band? And Ross and Courtney broke up some time ago too, but they're still friends and it's rumored that he's dating a CoStar? I'd appreciate some help lol Wanna get back in the know with them.

The band broke up. The Driver Era is technically just Ross & Rocky, but so far during their live performances everyone else from R5 has been playing with them. Yes Rydel and Ellington broke up. Yes Ross and Courtney broke up, and yes it was rumored that he was dating a costar, but not sure if that's still happening. Also Riker has started a new band, Riker and The Beachcombers.

I wouldn't call it a breakup. More of a rebrand. Also, Ellington has officially left.
