If the scene he was nervous about is his monologue in the final episode, he had no reason to be. He absolutely fucking nailed it. I didn't even realize it was a seven minute long monologue because I was completely glued to the screen. You don't come across performances like that super often. He's got something special. And it's not just him, literally every single actor on The Bear is so fucking good. If they don't sweep the emmy's next year I'm rioting.

I realized half way through when he hit 3mins.... I watched it. Re-watched it and timed it. One take, one camera shot. NAILED IT. Most actors of ANY generation couldn't do that. I've been trying to get my sister to watch the show. On the basis of my description of this scene she is bingeing it as we speak. JAW is under rated by everyone else. IYKYK

Hey Sarah. It's the last episode of season 1. Maybe half way thru. Carmie wakes up on his couch. Goes to an AA meeting. Finally talks about his brother. Just Jeremy and 1 camera. Its a 7min monologue. No edits or cutaways. He absolutely deserves an Emmy for this one scene, if nothing else.

I’m so glad he and the bear are finally being recognized. What a great show they created. I hope the Emmy’s do what they have to do (fill them with nominations -did they?- and awards) and then the globes.

I think he is a great actor, he seems to give 100/00 at whatever roll he's given I hope one day he will be as famous as brad Pitt because he is a better actor, at his age. I Will continue to follow and support his career I will watch anything that he is in. don't change I love your authentic self.

This show was amazing! Can’t wait for season 2! I hope we get to see more of Carmys backstory in the French Laundry. And get some more insight into why he’s so good at what he does. When everyone realized he could throw down in epi 1 it was one of the best moments of the series

Not sure I'd go that far. Have you seen Andrew Garfield lately? Or Michael Mando? Not sure I'd call him hot but Adam Scott? This guy is fantastic in The Bear--- quite possibly the only other really great show this year besides Severance. Not sure I'd go so far as to say he's the best there is right now.

I LOVED THE BEAR!!!!! This show is ONE OF THE BEST shows of this year and that is hard with Euphoria and all of these other AMAZING TV series on all of the streaming platforms!!!! I PRAY that we get another season of this show. I FELT the tension, the success, the failure of online orders... the frustration of dealing with existing staff members like the cousin!!! WOW!!!!! You guys got this show all of the way RIGHT!!!

I really enjoyed him in Shameless but he stole the show in the bear. I come from a culinary background and they absolutely nailed the tone of the kitchen vs the front of the house. His monologues were excellent as well. Looking forward to his next roles and season 2 of course. Can we hurry that up please 😂

I wouldn't be opposed to it. Carmy deserves love. The writers are definitely talented enough to make it interesting. It's also not a bad avenue to explore a little bit: how does a person who works 24/7 and juggles all the things that Carmy does, go about even having a romantic life? Moreover, how long until it just gets completely fucked up beyond repair? I don't think it needs to be an entire storyline, but a subplot? Sign me up.

I agree. It would make the show basic. Every show has a corny ass romantic element, this show is so great it doesn’t need one. The lack of it makes it unique. It’s perfect. The artless ruin everything with their low standards for entertainment.
