This song has helped me so much in dealing with the loss of my husband so tragically. There are moments I want to give up but when I hear this song it lifts me up and reminds me that the good Lord will give me the strength to get through this because he lives in me. Thank you Jesus!

The same power healed me from drug addiction in my teenage years. I experienced many near death experiences. I failed many times in my life and picked myself backup. Only through God's grace, and my loving family who always prays for me, I was able to become someone successful in life. I am now a law enforcement officer giving back to my community, and putting my life on the line each day. For Christ our savior, I am willing to die trying to make this world a better place. My parents got a divorce. Through faith and prayer, "the same power" reunited my parents back together. In Jesus name, amen.

I try so hard! So very hard to not only stand up for myself, my children, my husband but all of humanity! I am a fighter for our country. I am one of God’s vessel. I have days of great disparity. This morning God reminded me of this song. It gives me courage and strength to keep fighting for God’s will! Good WILL prevail over all the evil in this world. My Grandma passed away a week and a half ago. Her funeral was yesterday. I love this song, I heard it in a friend's car today, hadn't heard it in a while. I realized I have the power to get through this pain of losing her. And that power comes from knowing Jesus. She is safe with Him and my Grandpa in Heaven now.

I woke at 4:30 this morning and I was anxious to get the news of the election but felt the Holy Spirit leading me to hear from God first. I read Anne Graham Lotz and she spoke of God’s power to change. She said “The same power that transformed Planet Earth from that which was void, dark, without form, and in a fluid condition to that which was teeming with life, clothed in beauty, and reflective of the image of God is available today to change and fill empty lives.” I immediately thought of this song. I don’t think I’ve ever internalized the words as I did today. Thank you Father for speaking to me in so many ways through so many people! Blessed!

This is a very powerful song, it would be an amazing song to represent the “American Revival” we are in. I couldn't sleep all night, my life is in complete turmoil. Surgery, moving across the United States, death, no matter what is said or done my love for him never fails. I prayed all night for my little boy Matthew and die, I prayed until this afternoon when I opened my mailbox. And all I could do at the mailbox is cry. Jesus is everywhere, he hears us. My little boy said mommy why are you crying, I looked at him and I said do you remember praying at dinner? I said we've been answered Matthew. And the money is from somebody I have no idea who.

Ron Rogers Thank you for such kind words. I've never been in such despair and struggles in my life right now. My son and I are all alone in Florida with nothing not even a car. I don't know if you remember this band that I saw years ago called the imperials. I was listening to a song of theirs called let the wind blow. It takes me back to my younger years and give me the inspiration that I truly need.

I listened to this song more than once and I didn't have much to relate it to. But last night(June 17,2015) tragedy struck at a church in South Carolina as a man opened fire during bible study. I heard this news on the radio and my heart was devastated. The song I heard after learning of the news was Jeremy Camp "Same Power". I could relate to that so easily as a nation mourns. "We will not be overtaken, we will not be overcome" Nothing that Satan throws at us will overtake or overcome us because the Lord saved us. God is with everyone through every hard things that we will face. God lives in us!

I remember staying in a domestic violence shelter with my 4 kids and the only album i could fall asleep to was this one. Every night for months. To this day my kids remember these songs. Now so many years later we are all safe and in a home I own. They are adults and saved by the power of Jesus Christ.

I remember hearing a sermon by a priest at my dad's church back in mid-2002 about what it means to be a believer, the strength we receive from Him & the relationship that we as Christians have with Jesus Christ & what's most hilarious about it, looking back on it is that he pretty much summed up this Jeremy Camp song. 13 years later, Jeremy Camp basically ends up taking the primary points from this sermon that I heard & puts it into a song. A possible sense of déjà vu, but, I don't know...

One thing I like to do when listening to songs like this... I sing it in first person. There's power in our words, so I direct this song inwards, to me. I sing, "The same power that can calm a raging sea, lives in ME, lives in ME." I sing the entire song this way. And others. Try that, and see how it feels. "Life and death are in the power of the tongue". Project the blessings inward, to yourself.

No matter the struggles at the moment. It's one of my " go-to" song, no matter the mood it just gets me smiling. Covered in goosebumps❤. Going to bed with the words in my head and standing up with the urge to put it on repeat. What a feeling ❤ I just need to let you know.
