IIRC, he actually does cover that subject partially in one of the other episodes of this series. I want to say it was either the "Television" episode or the "Computer" episode, but I'm not positive. Both of those episodes are also here on KZfaq, probably even in the list of Suggested/Related Videos on the right side of your screen (assuming you're on a computer). If it isn't covered in either of those episodes, then it may actually be in an episode of a series James May did about the 20th century, but I'm almost positive that I remember hearing Jeremy's voice going over a short summary of the event.

@@bimmingham I mean... it's literally just the song... If you have an MP3 of the song you can just set the full song as your ringtone, or you can use any of the thousands of free audio editing apps available to trim it down to whatever parts you like in about 5 minutes. It's really not that hard.

This is still primarily meant to be entertainment, despite being fairly educational, so while you are right about the test having a loophole that Clarkson abused, it was much quicker and more entertaining the way they did it.

aaBeing socially shunned and isolated can lead to people developing some pretty intense emotions, but even disregarding that, it's not like the guy fully fleshed out the context of his actions/reasoning. Don't judge him for a situation you know next to nothing about. Also, the fact that he left that "apology" message is proof that he knows it wasn't an acceptable/normal reaction to whatever was being done to him. And he wasn't being "offended", he was being harassed/insulted/bullied (possibly even physically bullied as well). Sounds like what he did was just an excessive form of self-defense, which is a great example of why teasing people is just not acceptable behavior. You never know what the person on the other end is going through and, therefore, how hard they will take it.

I agree that no matter who technically invented perfected the voice telephone it was Bell that had the knowhow and overall knowledge to bring it to the world. I think that the reason that written text is so preferable these days is just another sign of moral breakdown and the lack of courage. I think that the internet, email and txt’ing has really hurt the world as it’s so impersonal. It’s really a cop-out way of communicating. Yeah sure “ will you grab some milk on your way home” is ok to say in a txt you should NEVER argue or attempt to have a serious conversation this way. People prefer to do it tho because they can be ten feet tall and bullet proof while txt’ing. Man-UP people! If you have something to say then just SAY IT!!

"Raido" is only the way to carry the information modulated to analog radio signal. You can carry "phone" more ways than just by cable. GSM is basically radio, wifi too - just different frequencies. It makes sense if you have some basic knowledge.
