Can you trust any politician??? I go off policies because I can see what would be the best possible outcome and worst possible outcome if one party gets in. I feel that Labour's policies will benefit me more in the best possible outcome. It won't harm me as much as conservatives if the worst possible outcome comes into fruition. Also the poor are taxed more than the rich in this country and labour is just saying that tax should be based on how much you earn. Therefore the more you earn, the more tax you pay which is a lot fairer then just taxing people who earn £20,000 or under a year. Remember nurses and others who earn that much end up in food banks and become a liability on the economy so its better to tax them less so they can contribute to a better economy. What I disliked about Labour was their refusal to apply a benefit cap and they were quite happy to give people £26,000 to stay at home and obviously there was no incentive for them to look for work because it was unlikely that they could get a job that paid the same. I am pleased that the Conservatives finally got a grip and we now have a benefit cap. Also the personal tax allowance under the last Labour government was a pathetic £6,475 and it is now £11,500 under the Conservatives. Also the Labour policy of £10.00 an hour must have employer's shaking in their boots and they will be looking for ways to reduce staff so unemployment will increase. Also there were food banks under the last Labour Government and they didn't see it as a problem or even a bad thing because they did nothing about it. As good as some of Labour's policies appear to be I have lived under a Labour government and they left this country in a terrible mess and even left a "sorry their is no money left" letter on a desk, lol.

I'm sort of the same, however we need to recognize that Scottish Labour are pretty much finished up here. They're not going to win seats up here. So my advice to you? Check your local polling. If Labour is close to winning? Vote for them. If the SNP is ahead (and Conservatives close behind) vote for them. Vote tactically to make sure the Tories don't win. When reporting on Labour's policy for free school meals to be funded by taxing private schools which are essentially private businesses, they interviewed several parents who were against this idea and then one private school headteacher who was for it. They didn't mention that private schools are a private business or that they only teach 7% of children out of the children in this country. Nor did they interview parents or teachers from state schools. Right now, the media are trying to associate Trump with Corbyn (the BBC did a news report on this. They put a big picture of Trump and Corbyn together then photoshopped Trumps red campaign hat on Corbyn's. They then did a report on fake news. These people have no shame. But you won't see them put up the very real picture of Trump and Theresa holding hands) except Trump was never anti establishment. He's like Clinton but not presidential. The only reason Trump got so much media was so that Clinton could look good next to him. The establishment didn't want Sanders, who had strong support and high approval ratings everywhere, to become President so they barely reported anything on him and ridiculed him a little for being old. The media here have rarely interviewed him but repeatedly reported news from Tories and Blairites bad mouthing him but never him which would be fair reporting. When asked to react to May's snap election speech, all they could ask him was about losing the election and standing down. Although he's second in the polls, they say Labour has zero chance of winning while claiming Libdems who are third in the polls may have a chance. Now they spent 20 minutes asking him about how eager he is to kill when they know he's anti war and that Conservatives are pro war. They didn't ask anything else even though Labour have released a lot of policies covering more pressing matters such as education and employment. The Tories have repeatedly broken election pledges and the media just sweeps over it. May repeatedly lies in Parliament and in speeches about how much she's saved the country and the media don't bat an eyelid. Now the criminal mass murderer and warmonger Tony Blair has publicly endorsed not only the Conservatives but also the third placers Libdems because they're very similar to the Conservatives (hence the coalition). That's why the Libdems who rarely get a mention have been getting so much attention and support from the establishment so that they become the official opposition which means nothing since they're completely useless. Those principals are worth fighting for? Do you want a skeptical nation that lives in fear or a nation that stands proud of what it represents which is a nation that wants to change the world? If you want to remain in the status quo, then so be it, you're satisfied with how life is going and haven't witnessed what it's like to be at the bottom of the ladder. For the rest of us, we want something different. I believe Corbyn represents people like myself who are tired of the same old bullshit, who are tired of working all week to not have any savings and being under constant scrutiny of breaking any laws because of the nanny state we currently live in. Does that make me delusional? Sure you may think it's a bad time for the call for nuclear disarmament but I believe there's no better timing. I'm not going to judge this man because he doesn't want to kill innocent civilians in a country he has no attachment to, I respect the man even more for this decision. What are these drastic economical policies that would ruin you? Are you an entrepreneur who's exploiting his workers? What other non-drastic economical policies do other parties offer you that has twisted your arm? The Tories failed to win a majority in 2010 and they scraped home on a wafer thin majority in 2015. In addition, they have been defeated in every single mayoral contest including London and they have lost over 50 council seats. Labour, meanwhile, has won 60% of byelections held, half of those with increased majorities. Labour has won every mayoral contest and also increased its national share of the vote by 4% in the local elections. Yet the polls claim the Tories are sitting at 50 points. I have never heard such bollocks in my life. The polls do not reflect in any way, shape or form the disastrous electoral record of the Conservative Party. The polling claims are simply laughable. May has had a rush of blood to the head and has made a fatal miscalculation. One based on desperation and on foolishly believing the polls. The Tory propagandists who take the public for fools will not decide the outcome of this election, neither will the chattering classes, neither will the newspapers, neither will the BBC or Sky. It is the British public that will decide who will be the next prime minister of the country. That is their exclusive prerogative.
