I’m not gonna lie, Jeremy had an angel on his shoulder the day of the accident. An accident he shouldn’t have survived. I am happy that God spared him, that he will one day be able walk his daughter down the aisle. God is real.

This is a beautiful thing for a daughter. My dad has never been there for me. He got remarried and moved far away. He won’t answer my calls or texts. He adopted her kids and doesn’t have time for me. I am lucky to have a stepdad that has been a father figure to me since I was a child. He’s been a real father to me. Up late nights when I was sick knowing he had to get up early for work. Showed me how to garden, and take care of chickens.and so much more. I’m going to send this to hi because it reminds me of how it is with him.

My dad told everyone in his family that I am not his biological child. He allowed my stepmother to verbally, emotionally, and very likely physically abuse me from a young age. I was brought up with very little faith and trust in men because of these experiences. When I met my husband, I was sure he was a great father since he was so great with our boys, but when our girls came it was like I fell in love with him all over again. I may not have a dad, but it has been beyond a blessing to watch my husband be the father I never had to my girls. Top notch. Blessings to Jeremy and his beautiful daughter!

Thank God for your husband. I also grew up without a father but that circumstance made me know exactly what I wanted my children to have. I had been praying for my husband since I was young. The top two qualities that he had to have was love Jesus and be the best father for our children. My husband is that perfect match to what I had been praying for.

I will never fathom a father’s true love. I have a father who has been physically present but is emotionally, mentally, psychologically abusive. I grew up not “growing up” with a father’s warmth. We very rarely talk now. Watching this music video and hearing Jeremy’s tribute to his daughter is a beautiful glimpse of what could have been. I pray more fathers are like him.

Exact same situation. ( almost ) I have a very physically present father. I do love him, and I know he loves me very, very much. However, he is extremely controlling & can be really emotionally abusive, also verbally. He does tell me he loves me and hugs me occasionally, but I've never had the WARMTH of a father's love. We have a very rocky, weird relationship. Spend alot of time together but arguing alot. I'm thankful for having a dad, bc I know alot do not at all, but man it would be amazing to know what it feels like to have this kind of love from a father.

The hardest thing for a child to realise is that their parent is just another human. They are just people. And people are so flawed. People are endlessly flawed. In so many ways. It's never fair that a child has to raise themselves, but it happens, all too often. You are just as worthy as any other child. I'm just sorry your circumstances denied you that during that time of your life. But know, that everything now is a choice. There are people in the world to connect to. I hope you find those connections.

I can't imagine the fear he must have been experiencing last year. The fear he must have felt in leaving his daughter alone. He is so strong, and an amazing dad. And I have no doubt that he'll spend the rest of his life thankful to be with his daughter.

@@damirnaric4835 I’m aware of that. I’m a suicide survivor myself and have a sister who attempted as well. I know very well that people go through this everyday. But those who are able to live through these things are amazing. And their stories should be celebrated. You make it out like people only care because he a famous actor. Why can’t you just look at his story and say that’s amazing? There’s a lot of negativity in the world. Don’t add to it. No one is saying his suffering is worse than that of everybody else. We’re just saying that he, along with those others, survived something. And everyone who survives deserves to be celebrated

@@the_light_writer he was run over last year and it was touch and go for a while on whether or not he would survive. In the time he was in the hospital, he was only worried about his daughter and how scared she might’ve been.

I lost my Daddy, age 91, on March 18, 2024. 😢 I am so grateful for all the time God blessed us with. Alzheimer's and dementia were rough on him the last thirty days of his life just after he made it to 91. The gift is knowing who your father is regardless of his faults and shortcomings so that you get to be a better man. R.I.P. Daddy. You are loved and missed. Thank you for sharing your life with me and being the father God intended. 🎉💔🎉

I wish i could show this to my daughter. I know her Daddy would have loved this song and even would have sung it to her which would be a rare thing for him. But this song exemplifies his feeling towards her. Sadly he passes away suddenly almost 3 years ago. Our daughter us 12 going on 13 and will never get to experience the end of this video with her Dad at her wedding. So... But still, this song is gold. I can just see my husband blasting it on his car stereo quietly singing along as he details his car. We miss him so. But i know that because he believed in Jesus, as do we, we will see him again soon. Please learn about Jesus. You wont regret it. ✝️🕊️💗

I am so sorry for yours and your daughter's loss. While I am not a daughter I almost lost my dad to cancer when my own daughter was very little. I now have four children and the thoughts of them almost not being able to know my father still makes me emotional and he beat cancer 11 years ago.

Like the other comments say, as a guy, I also found that eternal love from my Creator, the One who is always with me, always there for me, always has been and always will be, guiding me, showering me with His mercy, blessings and love, and waiting for me to come home. Even if I did have a father like that, he too would one day perish. And even if I did and received that love, maybe other problems would've ensued in life. The only thing I need to know is that I am _EXACTLY_ where I'm supposed to be, bc my Creator put me _exactly_ here, and so that's the best path for me to walk on, and grow stronger from, and leave the mark that am supposed to leave in this world, and that eternally heals wounds 😇

This is the one core memory one of my sisters and I don't have of our Dad. He passed before we got married. I walked halfway down the aisle alone to honor him, and my brother walked me the rest of the way to the altar. It's such a beautiful video and tribute to Ava. Cannot wait for your album. Once a Daddy's girl, ALWAYS a Daddy's girl! I too tragically lost my Beloved Dad to Cancer about 4 years ago! I know he's Forever with me in my Heart, though! Same with my Beloved Husband, who I also tragically lost in February of last Year from a major Ischemic stroke! This song is BEAUTIFUL and I didn't even know Jeremy was SO Musical?! Thank you for choosing to be a good man and a good dad for your kids. It's so clear how very much you love them. Not all children have that that blessing. I was one of those my biological father told my mother to abort when she told him she was pregnant. I thank God everyday my mama said no. She came home to my memaw and grandaddy. And I grew up with a large loving family. My whole childhood growing up I was reduced for being illegitimate. That's the way it was in the 50' and 60's. I always if only I could have a daddy like everybody else. You know it took me many years to realize that I had the best dad God could have ever given me. My granddad. Thank God there are all kinds of dad's out there!

I told a friend tonight that my 15yr old daughter is my best friend and couldn’t believe I am so fortunate to have that be the case. She’s an awesome young lady. I’m so proud of who she is and we have a ball every time we’re doing something. I’m a blessed father of 4 and cherish being “Dad”. I’m a teacher, hold boundaries, love unconditionally and have a good time doing it all. I think we need more examples of people exalting good dads like this song does. It’s so important. Well done.

Jeremy, I am a father to a daughter who is about to turn 12. She and I hardly know each other because her mother has kept us apart. I have been fighting for my daughter all her life, and she doesn't even know. You have NO idea what this song means to someone like me. There are no words. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. My mom did the same thing. I’m in my late 20s and my dad and I are quickly becoming best friends for the first time since I was 8. Make sure she knows you’re there for her and the love will speak for itself when she looks back to figure out what’s been happening her whole life.

I’m not a girl dad but I am a dad and this is beautiful. One of the biggest things I try to teach my boys is patience. Patience makes everything better in the end. Being a father is the greatest test in patience there is. We get upset we break when they break we hurt when they hurt we get mad when they misstep but we also love unconditionally. Let me tell you the patience pays off. I look at my amazing compassionate beautiful boys and I know stress the tears the smiles the hurts have all been worth it and they will make amazing partners and parents when they are ready. I was so lucky i got the best dad in the world because he and my mum adopted me from India from an orphanage with little to offer. I had birthweight at 6 months old, i was malburished and very sick another few day's, week's and i wouldn't be here but he came and resuced me, my mum was to come but one of my brothers got sick so she had to stay at home. He flew all the way from Sweden to get me, i was chosen, i was loved, i was not a mistake i was chosen. I was and still am daddy's girl , i'm in my 50's now but he will always be my number 1.
