I think it’s quite rare jazz pianists adress “playing technique” in youtube tutorials while it is so important and benificial. Thank you for that!😎

@@JeremySiskind There are many people like me who took no interest in technique for a long time, that Nancy can put back on the right path faster.

It is fascinating to watch Jeremy’s reactions to Nancy’s completely fresh perspectives. It cannot be easy to convey or grasp these subtle and complex body movements. But I enjoyed it and look forward to the next one. Thank you both.

i have been checking the channel everyday for a month to see if Nancy will make another appearance . lo and behold , this made my evening . i find this fascinating . if she could continue with the 8 myths of technique she brought up in the first video that would be awesome .plus as you said Jeremy how to approach scales. Nancy has an approach unlike anyone else i have seen on youtube for technique. thanks to both of you .

Nice! I think we need to start a movement for Nancy to create her own KZfaq channel, right?

What a great combination of teaching. Great tips to difficult techniques as stride left hand, 10th and boogie. Jeremy, you know exactly what we need:) Thank you very much.

Hi Jeremy I just saw this video come up. I'm a PGA Golf Professional and a Jazz Pianist. I was practicing piano last year when I got a pain that went all the way up my arm. My 4th and 5th finger in my right had curled up, since then I got diagnosed with Dystonia, and can't play golf or piano any more. I'm heartbroken and would appreciate any advise you could give me.

Hi Jeremy. Absolutely loving your work and your passion in giving us top class information. I've just bought your book and cannot wait for it to arrive. I did want to ask please, in the absence of a CD with the book to hear the examples, do you have any suggestions for a player who might not be immediately able to play all the examples in the book? Thank you very much.

Hey J! It's on my to-do list (my long-term to-do list) to make short videos for each example. In the meantime, check out my videos on related subjects to get a feel for what each style sounds like. I've covered so much of what's in the book on this KZfaq channel. Thanks for checking out the book!

@@JeremySiskind Hey Jeremy, thank you very much for the reply! I'm so glad to hear that but for the time being I've been loving your accompanying videos which have been doing a great job of giving me insight to the look and feel of the topic and how it should be based on how you play it (at the minute I'm sticking with Stride) so that's much appreciated for your additional time and effort. Thank you again, loving your work and everything you're doing!
