I’m stoned and for half a second I was trying to figure out what ‘emotional state’ Jerma looks like the outline of. Why did my brain go with that and decide that you were talking about the outline of a state of being and not a state of land? Why did it decide that made more sense when it’s not even possible? You can’t have an outline of a state of being, emotions don’t have a shape. I’m sorry. You’re right though, it does look like that 😅

The small details are the best part, like the nurse calling 911 with the toy phone, or the way elmos mouth momentarily turns into a real mouth, or jerma’s eclown shoes. Its perfect, I keep coming back to this vid.

the clear south park inspiration is charming enough but i love how this is kind of a "higher budget" looking take on it. all the different shapes done with the expressions are so good. I love the shot when jerma is insisting he isn't mr. noodle.

I think he's like that one bank robber from brooklyn 99, he just *wants* you to think he's old and has dementia and shit, so it seems like he isn't capable of robbing a bank (or in Jerma's case, being one of the most prolific serial killers to ever walk the face of the earth and avoid capture)

I wouldn't say improvement, as you can't really 'improve' stylistic choices. I think this is a fantastic inspired take on southparks style.

Because if you get, IDK the first and last season of Regular show compare the two, and still think that it does look the same... then there's something wrong. They improved on comedic timming, expressions, animation, art style and every single other aspect.

Love the details. Like, looking at the sister's ID you can see that not only is she 24, but she's a Veteran. And Jerma's still able to scare her. The other details on the card are also great, the "Me :)", the "Devonne Chat", and such. Very, very good.

Ive been wanting to get more into collage and animation (specially stop motion) for a while and this motivates me so much. Sometimes I think "why even try? I'll only get frustrated", etc. But watching stuff like this shows me that if I'm passionate abt it, and have fun, and let my mind go wherever it wants to go, I can do stuff as AWESOME!! as this right here ♡ this is so cool, you did an amazing work. Dang I LOVE this animation style! Makes me think of that early South Park style where everything is made to look like cut pieces of construction paper. Everyone has their own unique shapes, there is a lot of expression in their actions, eyes and face. Love this so much!
