Jermaine Burton Says Bengals Made Right Pick

CINCINNATI -- With the 80th overall pick in the third round, the Bengals selected wide receiver Jermaine Burton out of Alabama. Burton has been involved in off-the-field incidents, including striking a female fan after a game with Tennessee in 2022.

Im a psychic😂😂😂 I drafted mims and Burton on my Madden 24. So it's fate... But I been speaking about Burton since I first heard of him watching terrion Arnold and Kool aid mckinstry interviews. I'm ecstatic we got him baby chase in the making.

This dude is going to be a major problem in the slot this year. Major problem to stop period with jackpot joey throwing to him.

@@austinadams7120facts the league don't know what they passed up on. And are going to instantly regret it once season starts. This kid is an absolute monster and should never have fell where he did if not for his issues off the field. Which is BS to me, but hey he fell to the perfect team to get him on the right path and develop him the right way. In retrospect he fell into the perfect situation for him. He's with his player comparsion in my book ja'marr chase. And that's scary... Lethal in fact with Higgins along with them. All in all my favorite pick of the draft

He'll be fine here... Alongside two talents like Higgins and chase he'll mature. I think our culture here will make a superstar out of him and a better person in the long run. He's going to love it here and will flourish because of it. He's got that dawg in him and the team will love that about him and champion it on with open hearts and open arms. I disagree that her question was negative. She set the stage for why she was about to ask something. And then framed it as "What would you like to say to people", basically giving him a voice. The 2nd follow up was about something that actually happened and he has to answer for it to the NFL media and probably will for a long time. I have no problems w her asking. She had bigger balls then the men in the room. Good on her for it!

Bengals are having an excellent draft rn i cmon we addressed the Dline which was a big problem and most importantly one is a NT run stuffer. Addressed Boyd leaving by picking up Burton who has the tape to back his play let alone played for Alabama and Georgia against the best competition. Mims showed he is very good in pass protection and just meeds to fix a couple things for run blocking but he has 2 very good vets to learn from

They are drafting for the next 3-5yrs. DT Room was thin so that explains the DT Run.....O-Line was ranked 28 in NFL and Trent Brown is iffy, Mims was the best O-Line guy on the board.
