But hes not lying. 28k in 1st week album sells was a for sure no go on a 2nd album. No label would take a gamble like that if it wasnt guarantee millions of albums sold. You HAD TO !!! it was standard to sell bear minimum 1.5-3 million 1st week. Anything under 10 million overall for album sells was beyond embarrassing. The advances/recording fee/recouping expenses etc. Artist were blackballed for that. Especially if they couldnt recoup the exact dime the record label spent to produce and make them a "trending" artist.
