Lmao he played with Hurts and wasn’t as effective. None of the receivers were as effective that’s why when Tua took over they realized it was one of the best receiving groups in the history of college football.

Jalen spent all his time staring down Calvin Ridley. The freshmen WRs Jeudy, Smith and Ruggs rarely saw the ball until Tua came into games and when Tua came in he threw it to anybody who got open. Jalen was extremely limited as a passer his first 2 years at Alabama. @@wiseguy2312

That was the 4th year for Hurts in college. He started improving as a passer in his 3rd year at Alabama when he watched Tua throwing with anticipation where he had been holding the ball waiting for receivers to break wide open. Also, Ceedee was his #1 guy at Oklahoma, and Jalen tended to lock in on his #1 target while the other receivers didn't see the ball nearly as much. Tua threw it to whoever was open.@@Goodsense215

ain't no difference from Bama and Miami..Tua has been way above average. Hurts has one very successful season. but he's also had the better overall team. Tua just had an offense and he's been performing like a top tier QB with that offense too. but the team makes the Superbowl, not just an offense

Tua couldn't stay healthy and Jalen was done wrong after Kiffin left. If Kiffin coached in Jalen's first NC, Alabama would have won. The second one was a set up by Tua threaten to transfer if he didn't play.

LOL. Watch the first half of that Georgia game and then watch the second half and OT and get back to me. Alabama's offense was stuck in the mud with Jalen against defenses that they couldn't overpower with superior talent.

Tua or his Dad may have threatened to transfer, and they would have been justified. Tua was dominating Alabama practices late in his freshman season while the offense was struggling in games with Jalen. Look at Alabama's offensive numbers with Jalen in 2016 and 2017 with Jalen and then in 2018 and 2019 with Tua. No comparison.

I’m here to end the debate Alabama QBs just gotta be a fundamental qb , not a difference maker, because bama has all the pieces at WR, TE and RB. All you gotta do is do all the fundamentals right at bama. Jalen hurts is a DIFFERENCE MAKER, who isn’t great for bama, but in the nfl will dominate. The one difference between Tua and other bama qbs is that tua played with some exceptionally fast WRs, so he learned to pre throw the ball to a fast WR. Tua struggled in the nfl until he got tyreek, but was still able to set up waddle(fast WR) once he got 2 fast WRs he comes out as a top QB. DOESNT MATTER WHI YOU GIVE JALEN AS LONG AS HIS O LINE STRONG HE GONNA GET IT DONE

Tua..you have to compare apples to apples..the control - the team has to be the same..Tua and Jalen given the same constant - same team Alabama..Tua is better..and team/coach knew it. Too many variables in NFl..offensive lines, coaches, schemes to compare.

😂he said bama…not nfl Tua. There’s definitely a difference. I seen Hurts put a mediocre team in the playoffs and a stacked offense in the superbowl. I seen Tua almost lose his job with a mediocre team and go undefeated with the best receiver in the league, yet some fluke wins. Hurts by far.

Jalen started to get better as a passer when he stood on the sideline and watched Tua cutting the ball loose before receivers were out of their breaks instead of holding the ball waiting to see a WR come wide ass open. Jalen's biggest improvement as a passer was his junior year when he backed up Tua. He came on in relief against Georgia when Tua got hurt in the SEC championship game and I remember being stunned when Jalen cut a pass loose early, with anticipation, and hit a receiver 15 yards downfield with 3 defenders around him. It was the first throw I'd seen him make like that in 3 years. He learned that from watching Tua and from his coaches.

Jaylen all day!!! Tia was snapping but jaylen lost 2 games and Sabin gave up on jaylen at halftime- Tua won them that game. But Jaylen saved a important game Tua played bad in.. and got hurt! Jaylen more successful in college and nfl.. think about it, just playoff and Super Bowl contender QB Tua take the back seat can’t stay healthy more then 7games

Not me. Give Tua the offensive line Philly has plus Brown and Smith and he'd put up bigger numbers than he's doing in Miami and bigger than what Philly is doing with Jalen. Tua has great weapons in Miami and a great coach, but his OL is still dog meat in comparison to Philly's.
