I met Brian a few months ago at a nightclub. My friend and I got to do the Too Cool dance with him on stage, he was one of the coolest guys I ever met.

The amount of courage and swallowing of pride it takes to be able to address the public so soon and be up front about the situation is one, among many reasons, why the veterans in this business will always be held in such a high regard. Truly one-of-a-kind and irreplaceable. God speed King and we wish you many years of health and happiness to continue to lead your court until God is ready for you to rejoin your son.

I just wanna give my deepest condolences to the entire Lawler family. I've always enjoyed those moments during attitude era when Jerry commentates during Too Cool's matches especially how Jerry says Grandmaster Sexay. No one can replicate what Brian has done for the business of wrestling as equally towards to the King. GrandmasterForever

I remember Too Cool getting a HUGE crowd reaction back in 2000 or so and you could hear how genuinely proud and delighted Jerry was, saying something like "They've danced their way into the hearts of these fans!" You could tell that was a real moment of paternal pride. Very sorry for your loss.

Jerry, I lost a close loved one last week and it has been the lowest week of my life. I feel like I'm in a bad nightmare too and cant believe what has happened. I thank you for having the courage to sharing your story because it's harder than people realize. Fighting back tears while pretending to be okay is so hard. In time to your heart will heal and be able to focus on the great memories of your son rather than the tough ones. You will grow stronger and have so many people pulling for you. But just know you're not alone.

Jerry, I didn't get to spend much time with my father before he passed when I was young, but what I do remember... are the times when my mom would be in Little Rock a few days for her job...he would actually let me watch Raw in the living room with him! on the big screen. When she was around he would claim it's silly and not what it used to be....but I'll never forget him laughing his butt off, every time, at the stuff you would say! I was too young to understand a lot of it yet, but now that I'm older....I look back and realize ...YOU WERE raw is war! and you always will be. You have an army of folks behind you, and will not let you get through this alone. We love you buddy.

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family, King. I just lost my brother this past February, he was only 43, and it was devastating to me and my family. I too lost my Dad when I was 19 and that was tough, as well. A lot of people are praying for you and your family.

I actually cried my eyes out listening to this. To hear Jerry in this much pain would brake anyone's heart, I send all my heart out to his family.

I’m 44 and you were my super hero of 80s ! I thought I was cool because my name was Jerry! Several times I snuck in fairgrounds to see you as a child! I remember someone throwing hot coffee on you during a Dundee match! It’s rough hearing my hero down! But god will carry you! Love ya boss man!!

I lost my brother 8 years ago and he was also my best friend. It was the hardest thing I’ve ever went through and my parents have never been the same since. I was going through the hardest point of my life and I just kept thinking about how hard it must be for my parents. I feel for you jerry I haven’t lost a child but have seen first hand what it’s like.

Hard hearing Jerry like this. Like all fans I've always seen him as the fun loving King, never emotional and always smiling. To hear this side of him, I know the pain is very great. I will continue to keep Jerry and the rest of the family and friends in my thoughts and prayers. Brian was one of the nicest wrestlers I have ever met. I've been a wrestling fan most of my life. I have seen him on TV and quiet a few times at some wrestling shows here in Mississippi. There was one instance where there was a meet and greet with with Brian and 2 other well known wrestling stars, the other 2 weren't friendly to me at all and shrugged me off, but Brian was so friendly. He was smiling, shook my hand and talked to me for a minute. That has always stuck with me and I will never forget it. RIP Brian. Thanks for the memories.

Brian was one of a kind! The only time that Brian was ever early in his life he was with me. We traveled to Mississippi for a date and no one was there. Brian called the King to find out from the promoter what was going on. Jerry Lawler called back and said we were in the right place but a month early. That’s a memory that I’ll never forget among many many others!! My heart goes out to Ms Kay, Jerry, Kevin, Blake, and Brian’s youngest brother, all other family friends, and fans. May the Holy Spirit comfort each one touched by this.

I did a show with Jerry and Brian earlier this year in Cleveland Tn of all places......I talked briefly with Brian and got the vibe that he was just a good dude....and i watched Jerry and Brian and they had sorta of the same relationship me and my dad had.....I didnt think this one would hurt as much for just meeting somebody once.....

Heartbreaking. Jerry Lawler was in the first match I ever saw live at The Sportatoreum in Dallas losing to Superstar Bill Dundee. Followed him through Memphis, WWF(E). Followed him for so long. Losing a loved one is heartbreaking. Whether it's your parents or siblings. It'll always hurt no matter what. I've had my share of deaths in my family and the ones that hit me the hardest was when I lost my parents. Their passings were 2 years apart. I'll never stop grieving for both of them. 😢
