Jerry Lee Lewis - Boogie Woogie Piano Riff - Piano Lessons
kzfaq.info/get/bejne/jq1xlNtemd2sYJs.html
In this video, Scott The Piano Guy Houston shows you how to play a great Boogie Woogie riff made famous by Jerry Lee Lewis. Scott will break down this piano riff that boogie woogie players use all the time that sounds so hard to do into simple, easy to follow steps.
This famous boogie woogie riff uses 3 chords, the C, F and G chords. These are the same chords that are used in the blues. This boogie woogie riff becomes manageable if you play it slowly. Once you get it under-hand slowly, you can gradually pick up the speed until it sounds right to you.
Scott Houston is the host of The Piano Guy television series on PBS and has taught hundreds of thousands of folks like yourself, how to have some fun on their piano or keyboard.

It reminds to me my crazy last one night in BC blues in Lyon... A competition to dance non-stop the rock 22:30 pm' I stopped at 05:15 am ' and still because the new person in charge told me that I could stop that I had gained won and my dancer too 10 entrances and the medal of BC blues... That of nights, that of sweat, that of happiness in 40 years! Thank you Mr André accept all my gratitude !

As an intermediate Pianist, knowing all my chords, able to site read only, in about an hour I was able to play it solid. how hard can it be , C then F, then G , his instruction and demonstration of fingering made the difference. I had been viewing ,and watched many You tube Boogie woogie lessons that I was unable to comprehend ,that is until I watched pianoguytv . I found scott to be an excellent teacher, I dont know why people r bashing him ,, he is the master.. he rules !

I think you are a good teacher, hopefully, I can reach your level. By the way, the E flat and e together, sound good if you are doing a boogie woogie/train song. I love the dissonant 7. P.S. I am a Kurzweil /Korg man myself. But I love the old Rolands. (JX and Jupiters).

Hey! Good tutorial! I have one question though: Me and my friends like to play some boogie woogie togheter (they play guitar), but they'd like to play in A instead of C. How do you do that slide thing for chord who use black keys as the 2nd note in the chord?

look for a yamaha P series [probably the p70 or maybe it's the p80 now.] that's what i'd recommend because it's simple, but it's full size, fully weighted like a real piano and sounds really good.
