i think its time today that singers need to look at legends like him Elvis and others you don't need computers and earphones to be a singer they have proven that over and over again thats why they are called legends they know how to put a show on

I've said it before, and I don't think I can top myself. Not just "good" ... but one of a kind fantastic! You're lucky enough, right now, to see one of the best entertainers/musicians in the business. When he goes, ... there ain't nothin' comin' up that can hold a candle to JLL. These performances show the Killer at his best, in my estimation. STILL one of kind ... and we were lucky enough to live in the same era.

I'm glad and grateful to be born early enough to experience those early years of rock 'n' roll and of course Jerry Lee was one of my favorites. I still love this music today in my seventies and so it will continue. May he find a good place in heaven, we won't forget him. Greetings from Germany, 11.03.2022

Jerry Lee at one time made a comment. It was a comparison between himself and his cousin Jimmy Swaggart, the televangelist: "Jimmy's a good preacher, but I got all the talent." Not wrong, that. I saw him in a Rock and Roll show at Norfolk, VA in 1961 when I was in the Navy. It was amazing. He had everyone up and on their feet. He was fantastic.

One day long ago my sister, who is 10yrs older than me , was gone with some friends. So at 7yrs of age in 1957 I decided to play some of sis' 45s. The first one I put on her Sears record player was a record with a"sun" on the label. The song was called "Great Balls of Fire". At my young age I had no idea what a " ball of fire" was. When that needle hit the record I got well schooled in more than what it meant. From then on I was an official rock n roll boogie Woogie Alabama boy! Indeed The"Killer" had filled me in. The flip side was "You Win Again" At age 70 now I'm still rocking with Jerry Lee Lewis Jerry Lee you've always had it going on. I'm scared to even think of what music would be like if you hadn't come along. Jerry Lee you are indeed the true King of boogie woogie rock n roll. Don't even try to tell this guitar pickin' boy any different no sir!!!

I was lucky enough to meet the legend himself at a private party he let me talk music and life for a few minutes . It was like talking to an older brother when we both talked excesses and music. He was just as rockin in the 90's as when I watched him as a kid listening to my mom's records. I won't discuss details for one reason only , that it was a special moment and I'm going to keep it in my heart.
