He did a solo performance of it in church one Sunday and he forgot the words of the song and he says that he got up and went down to where his mother was in the church and she reminded him of the song he was supposed to do. The second song is a great one too..

He and Elvis can't really compare...they are both great. But, when Jerry Lee sings and plays and he has feeling and heart and soul that can only come from an old country Pentecostal Church. I know, I've been there.

Love all the vintage gospel songs and keep trying to find a church where they sing them. Might have to move to the Ozarks to find one as I am in Catholic Cajun Country where old-time gospel is almost impossible to find (except on You-Tube). Thank you for posting these two hymns that are new to me.

Paul: Do you know of Pastor Gerald Lewis who pastors Swartz First Assembly of God church. Swartz is just north of Monroe, La. He is first cousin to JLL and they all grew up together playing piano & singing. Pastor Lewis is second cousin to Jimmy, but also first cousin to Linda and Mickey. Gerald's ministry has a great emphasis on music and he has many videos on You-Tube wherein he sings and plays vintage gospel songs. (Even one of mine! but that one's new and not vintage...yet.)
