I am 44 right behind you. Been a 49ers fan after that 49ers vs Broncos Superbowl. I was in the 5th grade when I started to understand and like the game of Football. 49ers just became that team I started to follow. When I was a 4th grader I kind of knew they had won the Superbowl but didn't pay any attention to it because at the time I was really in to baseball and had followed Kirby Puckett and the Twins.

Jerry Rice was on the 49ers when I first became a fan in the early 80s. He was something to behold! Thank you for having him on Fred and Sydney.

I have the privilege to be a 46 yr old lifelong Niner fan from SF. As a kid these legends were so accesible to us. Saw Jerry in public a dozen times easy. Montana at the mall shopping. Dwight Clark had a restaurant off 101 on the Peninsula and my birthday dinner was there a few years in a row. It’s 2/23 so often after an amazing post season. Thing is we were raised to be respectful. These men could eat at a restaurant or shop at stores or jog down the road and it wasn’t a ton of ppl swarming them. I seen Jerry get an attitude w/ adults a couple times but never us kids. Love this man n love my Niners - thank you for the memories and thank you Fred for giving me more!

Fred you can really take over the 49er content creators game. People spend a lot of time listening to content like this and when it's from a player rather than some random fan or a media guy it's just that much more valuable. Btw you deserve DPOY award 100% you've been playing at a level we've only seen maybe a handful of times throughout history and it is fun to watch

I’ve carried Jerry’s attitude with me nearly my entire life. When he said I may not be the fastest, but no one will outwork me. That resonated with me, that man is a treasure.

As a third generation Niners fan. December 49ers football always means a lot to me. Watching the Niners with my dad during Christmas time are some of the best memories I have of him. This was a great episode of the Warner House. For someone who has watched a lot of bad 49ers teams, I'm just enjoying this time. Thank you Fred and the rest of The San Francisco 49ers.
