Jerry Rice is the one of nicest most approachable athletes I've ever met on multiple occasions! If you're from the Bay Area, most of us have crossed paths with him many times, and whatever he has going on he always stops to acknowledge his fans, take pics and shake hands with a positive attitude. No bud, I live in the bay and know a host of people that have met him. There are two camps, one says he is classy and nice and great. Others say he is a POS, rude, cocky and entitled. Maybe he is getting cranky in his old age. To be fair, we didn't see what the photographer was doing or saying before this took place.

When I was a kid, while Jerry was still playing, he attending a local card show. As an excited ten year old, getting to meet Jerry Rice was such a huge deal. When I learned the only way to meet Jerry was to pay $200 for an autograph it told me everything I needed to know. Compare that to Deion Sanders who I met several times during his time in Atlanta, and was as cool as a fan about taking a minute to talk to a 10 year old.
