Jerry Savelle's Last Sermon April 14, 2024

Dr. Jerry Savelle has gone to be with Jesus. Jerry is now absent from his body and present with the Lord and so shall he ever be with the Lord!
Jerry's ministry has blessed millions around the world. He will be missed here on earth but for all who have received Jesus as Lord and Savior we will see him again soon!
The following message was posted on Jerry Savelle’s (jerrysavelle.org) on April 15, 2024:
It is with both profound sorrow and divine peace that we announce Dr. Jerry Savelle, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, pastor, mentor, and resolute friend, has stepped into his eternal reward this day, Monday, April 15, 2024. Dr. Savelle lived a life marked by an adventure in faith.
Brother Jerry’s journey on earth was one of immense impact, rooted in the powerful love of Jesus Christ. His life testified to the beauty of grace and power of faith. As he often reminded us, through God’s hands, "nobodies" are turned into champions, and today, he himself has received the crown of righteousness laid up for all who are called according to His purpose.
While our hearts miss his physical presence, we are comforted by the Holy Spirit and filled with a joy that transcends earthly understanding. As the Apostle Paul encouraged the Thessalonians, we stand firm in our hope and the knowledge that this separation is but temporary. We do not mourn as those without hope, for we know that in Christ, we shall see Brother Jerry again.
Join us in prayer for Mrs. Savelle, Jerriann, Terri, and the entire family. Together we celebrate his life, remembering and honoring the legacy of character, faith, and integrity that Dr. Jerry Savelle so gracefully built. His teachings, love, and example have left an indelible mark on countless hearts, all of which are encouraged by his ministry.

We will announce the details of Dr. Savelle’s celebration of life as they are confirmed over the next week. Please look for updates, which will be made public at the appropriate time.

When I was a young man I had a lot of trouble with other parishioners who didn't want to give me rides to church, they kept saying that I need to get a car. I had a couple of problems with that. First, we in the body of Christ need to help our brothers and sisters as much as possible, second, I was 19. I didn't have money for my next meal, let alone a car. Jerry was one of the people I wrote to for wisdom/advice on the matter. The advice he gave helped me to grow in faith. I'll never forget that. Now I have that vehicle and much more than I ever imagined. You can't beat God giving.

We examine what everyone preaches to us and no one is duping us into anything. Jerry's message seemed consistent with what Jesus himself taught. We will certainly miss Dr Jerry Savelle. Humble brother, man of faith, great teacher. Let’s also thank God for the many servants He has raised and who do teach His Word fully and correctly. No reason for anyone to consider one teacher as the only one they listened to. I believe that it is risky to show some exclusive devotion to an individual. If you keep an open Bible and stay yielded to our Savior through the Spirit, you can receive learning from any or many anointed servant(s) of God.

About 14 years ago, my brother in the Lord, Pastor Tony Robinson, shared a Jerry Savelle CD with me entitled, "Surprise" about the blessings of God overtaking the believers. It built my faith to believe God for my first brand new car, after riding the bus and not having a car for 2.5 years. Since 2011 my license plate has been SURPRIZ! Many people ask why that name and it gives me a chance to testify of the power of that word that Pastor Jerry preached. Well done thy good and faithful servant of the Lord. #SeeYaLater

I’ve been holding on to his book on the Favor of God and reading it over and over for the last 2 years. The way he lived his life and his awareness of God’s favor has impacted my life in so many ways. I now expect the favor of God to set my day up, to enrich me, to bless others and use me to bless others and most of all to glorify Jesus. Rest well in the loving arms of Jesus brother Jerry! I loved ❤️ hearing brother Jerry in person when he put his own motorcycle on stage and used it as a prop backdrop when he preached at Victory Christian Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma. There’s a reason why I can’t picture him no longer alive on earth. This is because he is still alive in Heaven. In the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ resting in the prince of peace.😇😇😎😎🙏🙏🎁❤️🎁

The first book i read by Dr. Savelle was If the devil can't steal your joy he can't keep your goods. Dr. Savelle what a blessing to the kingdom of God. You finished your course. Thank you so much. I am so glad that i had the oppotunity to be taught by you.

I THOUGHT so! I had been notified by phone of his coming to Visalia but I could not attend.... I live in Fresno. OMG what a blessing I missed! However, I was able to see him in Visalia last year and the year before.... and several years ago, I saw him in Madera. Just like all of you - I miss him so much. His love and joy were always present. His passing has become a catalyst for me to accelerate my growth - especially since I am only a few years younger than Brother Jerry. But i told the Lord, Father, please take his passing and use it to make my life count for your Glory Let it be a catalyst for my change. For whatever the number of days I may have - please help me get past myself and hunger after you even more so - in honor of You and your son, Jerry. Love, Cynthia

His most recent prophetic messages for 2024 (Advancing in 2024) must be heeded the more, this year and beyond. The Favor Factor was also one of the best series I ever received (including the many testimonies and stories of faith shared) from his ministry and it blessed me tremendously. When I think of Jerry Seville I think of FAVOR. He had great messages on FAVOR. A great man of God. I saw him first time in Tennessee when Jesse and him did revival meetings together. There are a few mighty men and women of God that when we hear of their transition home we are in utter shock, and Jerry Savelle is definitely one of those Mighty Warriors! Praising God that many of his teachings, enlightments, encouraging and inspiring words were captured on recordings so that, as he did with Orals sermons, we can do with Jerry's! Continually gleening and growing through the gift of loving and serving the Lord Jerry so generously shared with all of us! Praying God's amazing Grace of comfort on Jerry's family and closest friends and all who mourn his passing. While the void of his presence will be felt by so many, we can find joy knowing what a joy he must be experiencing in the presence of our Lord! Until all are reunited.. we will forever love, miss and appreciate you, Dr Jerry Savelle! Thank you!

Been listening to Brother Jerry for around 40 years. One of the first messages I heard of his he said "God Bless them Cowboys". This was shocking to me because I was always taught us Holy Rollers weren't supposed to even think about football. Listening to him and Brother Copeland set us free from religion and helped us discover the freedom and love of God that comes from a personal relationship with the Lord. I recite Pastor Jerry's confessions for reaping a harvest frequently during my morning prayers. It works! I also watch him via Direct TV during the week. He was truly a man of faith. Jesus! I PRAISE you! Even as I’m struggling providing for my children. I will keep faith. I have two beautiful boys both have special needs. I’m overwhelmed because they require so much from me. I’m fearful because every month is a struggle to not end up on the streets with my boys. Im so stressed so I ask you Lord to restore my faith. I’m so tired Lord Jesus of constantly struggling to pay bills and struggling to buy groceries. Ashamed because I’m failing as a mother. Please Lord continue to give me strength. 💝
