Lyzel Reyes well, I cant agree...they should of left the 2nd season off or changed the story line. true love doesnt run off with someone else no matter what!!! just ruined the whole story for me. 2018 MG was my favorite, the two lead actors were a perfect match. But I was very impressed with Barbie’s acting !

I love his smile, really he emotes well and conveys to the audience the deep feelings he played as Si the persistent suitor and the mixed feelings between the two loves when he suffered from amnesia. Great acting.

Meteor garden 2001 Taiwainese was the FIRSTand MOST popular asianovela in PH. It was aired 2003, its now 2020 and its still hold the record of the HIGHEST TV rating of asianovela aired in PH up to the present time! It captured the hearts of Filipinos in ALL ages and ALL gender!Main casts did an exceptional portrayal for their role. Jerry's transition in acting is excellent from season 1 to season 2. MG and F4 2001 who conquered asia are phenomenal. Due to its popularity and huge success, other version later came out. Hanayori dango 2005 Japanese, Boys over flower 2009 korean, meteor garden 2018 Chinese.

it was 2000 to 2001. i graduated college in 2000. ito yung kasagsagan ng kasikatan ng MG. na nagrequest ang maraming college students na ilipat ang time slot kasi maraming di makapanood.

Until 2003...May 5, 2003 to be exact..the first most popular asianovela ( that time di p nauso ang term n yan..chinovela pa ang ginagamit n term)) was aired in PH via abs cbn 5:30 PM. Meteor garden season 1 premier aired in 2001 and meteor garden season 2 in 2002. But both season 1 and 2 was first aired in PH in 2003 ( also meteor rain). Yes maraming ngrerequest n ilipat ang time slot pero pinanindigan ng network ang 5:30. Instead nagkaroon n lng ng marathon replay every saturday and sunday para sa mga hindi makakapanood every week days🙂

I loved Lee Min Ho in BOF, but agree Jerry is #1 Daoming Si of all the versions & then Lee Min Ho a few points behind only. Though I had 2nd lead syndrome for ALL the versions!

What do you mean 17 years later? Shen Yue was Shancai in 2018 Meteor Garden, but Count Your Lucky Stars was released in 2020.

@@misslea-idv4734 Jerry Yan was Daoming Si in Meteor Garden 2001, Shen Yue was Shancai in Meteor Garden 2018. There's a 17 years difference between the first and last Meteor Garden. :) the time when the 2 actors each played their role in MG.

Siya yung nag-iisang lalaki na kilala ko na hindi kailangang ipakita ang abs para matawag lang na sexy. Everything in him was just perfect and sexy. Sa bawat pagtitig, pagngiti, pagsulyap o pagtawa napakasexy na niyang tingnan. Kahit nga sa facial expression nya mukha ng sexy at nakakainlove. He looks so yummy. I don't know or can't tell if how many times I've watched Meteor garden.. Even my daughters ages 10, 8 and 5,knows all the characters of Meteor garden.. they watched this with me whenever I get bored.. this is my movie marathon.. all I just wish is that their will be a sequel or a book 3 of this where we can see the wedding of Dao Ming Si and Shan Cai and also if Lei found his true love together with Xi Men 💕💕💕💕😘😘😘😘

I prefer the old version bus scene compared to the 2018 version. 2018 was ruined because of that police who caught Shancai then. Hayss nothing really beats the original!
