Not sure but I think the Revell black diamond snap together kit is derived from this mold.The part count and dimensions look very close to this kit.That kit is a decent snap kit I built it a few years back.

This is a 1955 tooling, according to Scalemates. Reissued in 1956, 1962, & 1972.
